Jaldapara Jungle Camp I Best Family Resort in Jaldapara National Park

The property was nice, but the staff was rude and unprofessional. We requested a barbecue days in advance, which they promised but failed to arrange, giving lame excuses instead. The front desk staff had no manners, completely ruining the experience. Stay was decent, but the service was horrible.

Don't fall in trap by seeing average rating of this property. I don't know why this place getting high rating. It is actually a restaurant in the front side, and in the back they have some rooms/cottages. Let me share our experience. I visited this place with my family total 7 heads. I reached there on 1st Nov 2024 in the late afternoon. Rooms - Once reached there they allotted 3 rooms to us as per our booking. We realise those rooms has zero privacy, coz main door has clear glass on it. Any one can sneak through it. Btw the rooms are damped. After we told they put only one hanging fragrance in one bathroom as they don't have in stock. Only one person is allotted to server guest, no room service is there. Also that guy assigned to restaurant also. If we need anything we need to call him over ph every time. But that assigned guy was very cooperative and take care of us very well. But the resort owner, any other first even bother that we paid to stay there. In bathroom if there is no water we need to call them then they turn on water pump. It seemed we stay on a rented house. No one cleaned our room even the balcony during our 2night stay. In one of the room the lock in the main door is broken. They doesn't even bothered about that. Service - I think they doesn't even know how to serve guest. Their main focus in on the restaurant which is on the front side. On man is assigned to us, also he is working very hard in the restaurant. We mentioned our dinner menu and time(10 pm) but we got our dinner nearly 11 pm. As we have elderly people with us who took medicine on time. They only server first the running customers in the restaurant as they taken for granted the resort guest , as we won't go anywhere for dinner. Food- the only best thing about this place is their food. Taste is good. But I feel the price is on slightly higher side. Also one very important things, when we visited there it was Diwali, on that night the rush on their restaurant is high. I don't know they have bar license or not, but they allow people to drink on the open place in front of our cottage. Those were local people not any guest of the resort. Even the didn't clean that place in the morning. Also they have some closed cabin type rooms for restaurant where you can drink and have food. So don't plan to stay there specifically with kids and family. This place should deserve more honest review.

Beautiful place, nice rooms, excellent customer service, delicious food and located beside the main highway.

This fmly resturent is worst, no service man, outside sitting area fully dust, tiktiki poty, fully mosquito, very bad experience today. But food r sooo tasty, chiken fish wonderful.

This place is amazing to stay at. You can sneak a peak into the forest from the backyard of the hotel. The staff are the most generous humans beings ever. The owner is full of radical ideas to change tourism in the Dooars. The owner's fresh vision for tourism advocates for an immersion in the forest and its culture. I was very impressed.

Manager of this resort are very rough. Rest everything is good.

Must say Jungle camp has grown old. Visited it after almost 10 years and missed the cordial behavior of the owner who talked to us at length about beauty and wild life of Dooars in the previous occasion. The quality of room service and cleanliness is also not on top notch. It has not improvised itself with time. The food quality has continued to be excellent but way too costly as before.

We stayed at Jaldapara Jungle Camp for four nights. Our stayed was unsatisfactory. There is mismanagement everywhere. All cottages are in very bad condition. Behavior of staff was polite and pleasant. Foods are pricy. There is a parking are occupied by an very old and broken car . Cleanliness is not maintained. There is garbage stagged everywhere . Not recommended for staying.
