Sunhill Portico

We hosted my engagement party at Sunhill Portico and stayed in the hotel for 5 days. |This was truly an amazing experience for all of us. We were around 8 people, including senior citizens. Absolutely loved every bit about this hotel. From the delicious dining options to cozy rooms, everything superseded our expectations.|We are from the southern part of India and were apprehensive about the probable difference in cuisine and taste, while being in the another part of the country. But to our pleasant surprise, every meal was indeed a scrumptious feast. The staff was extremely attentive, which helped us to make our stay most comfortable. ||The food provided for the engagement party was also top notch. The catering team had also taken our request and added extra dishes as per our liking. The guests raved about the food and hospitality.||One of the best hotels we've ever had the privilege of staying at. Special mention to the manager, Sanjib Banerjee, who ensured that everything was delivered as promised and the guests had a great experience.||We highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming this way.

It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was 6-7 KMs from NJP railway station. I had my booking for the Executive King/ Twin room but upon arrival I was given an upgrade to the Premiere room. Room was simply awesome. It was very spacious, almost 350 Sq. Ft. Had a king size bed with bedside tables, individual reading lamps on both sides, TV, small refrigerator, Duct AC with room specific control, dedicated work desk with a mid back revolving office chair, a mid sized sofa with a small tea table and a double door wardrobe for clothes. Rooms were very neat and clean with proper room service available through intercom. The TV unit had a small extension that was equipped with 2 one litre packaged drinking water bottles, sachets of coffee, milk powder,tea bags sugar, an electric kettle and pair of drinking glasses. In addition to this there was a small mini bar which is payable but the charges are not exorbitant like other hotels. They charge you a minor additional amount of Rs 30-40/- on top of the MRP per item which I feel is justified. Staring to chocolates, soft drinks to packaged snacks all were there. The washroom was spacious, neat and clean. It was very well maintained with and had an excellent set of toiletries starting from comb, shaving kit, band aids, hair caps etc. This was something that I really felt was different than other hotels I have been to. Coming to the complimentary breakfast (included with your room) it was really heart wining. They had small continental dishes like croissants, pastries, sandwiches, eggs, corn salad and dessert, indian dishes like paratha, sabji, idli, dosa, sambar, chutney etc. Its was a buffet spread that was scrumptious and tasty. The only thing they can improve is a 24 hour or a late night restaurant service, since I reached around 11 PM by that time the restaurant was closed and hence only very basic items were available. Pros: 1. Room was spacious, neat and very well maintained. 2. Aesthetics of the room were awesome. 3. Room Service was good. 4. Prime Location. 5. Good food. Breakfast spread was fantastic. 6. Set of toiletries. Cons: 1. 24 or late night hour restaurant service

Very Good neat & clean rooms. Well maintained bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast spread was very good. Common area ambience also good.Staff's were very courteous. Plenty parking space.Location for stopover on way to north east destination is very convenient.

Beautiful banquet hall with elegant interiors and ample space, perfect for any celebration. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety. Service was prompt and staff was very courteous. Everything was well-organized and created a memorable experience for all our guests.

During our one night stay we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and good food. Though reasonably priced, there was no compromise on the quality. At the restaurant, the serving manager deserves a special shoutout. The veg khowsuey, and peri peri fries are a must try. Breakfast was hearty with plenty of variety for vegetarians.

A surprise small but elegant hotel secluded behind the main road. The rooms were nice and comfortable with all amenities. The food during our dinner in the restaurant was great and delicious and reasonably priced. A well balanced breakfast buffet rounded off our stay. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming!!

We visited Brewberry - The 24 Hours Cafe inside Sunhill Portico and were very pleased with our experience. The ambience and service was lovely and the food was top notch. Very satisfied with the quantity, quality and price. Definitely recommend!

Pretty decent rooms. Worst staff and service. Staff is not qualified enough as they lack even the basics of how guests should be treated. They had ruined the Roka function that my fiance and her family got arranged at Sunhill Portico. Didn't serve warm food, neither did they provide any helpers. No placards placed. Literally, zero efforts spent in making the day special. In fact, they spent efforts in ruining it, in my opinion. The manager insulted the host i.e. my fiance's parents on being confronted upon. DO NOT PLAN YOUR SPECIAL DAY HERE.
