Hotel Surya Grand

A good hotel, seemed quite newly done up when we visited 2 days back. Since its a little inside from the main road, there is no road noise, but the rooms have no view either, although that wont matter much. Room interiors are top notch. Bathroom slippers were provided too, but no hair dryer or hand shower. Bathroom has a frosted glass shared with the room, which does not serve to be sensual, and rather can cause a distraction to a sleeping person due to the light, everytime the other person visits the washroom. Restaurant has a good indoor and outdoor sitting area. Indoor sitting has a nice LED where we enjoyed IPL. Food was good, the breakfast menu was especially good and really tasty. All in all, a good hotel.

Recently we stayed at this hotel. Hospitality of the staff was commendable. As we were entering the gate, one of the staffs saw our car stuck in traffic, he immediately came to rescue us. It was raining then when the staff immediately removed the Barriers of dropping point n showed the way to move our car near the shade. Then as usual with any hotel they carried our luggage to our room. Rooms were super clean n facilities were all good. Dinner n breakfast were super tasty. I really recommend all this hotel if u r planning to stay at siliguri.

Have visited for business trip multiple times. Location is good. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is good enough option and food is also good.

Very unfortunate, this is my 5-6 visit in this property. Earlier rooms was super cleaned but this time am sharing my views : 1. I reached at Hotel 12:15, it took more than half an hour to get the room since only person was in the reception. 2. Room was not cleaned properly & towels looks like it was used by previous guest & has not been changed. 3. Hope Managment will read my message & do take necessary steps so that we can enjoy our staying.

Hotel Surya is a fantastic place to stay! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the mutton rara--it's rich, flavorful, and a must-try. The breakfast spread is also impressive, with a variety of tasty options to start your day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a great stay and amazing food!

The room was good, the food was good, some of Castor staff were very good, reception staff were very helpful, neat clean and quite a nice place for Siliguri. Hotel's stand-in manager was very sweet and the owner was a cheerful, smiling and young Sardarji. Just that Church Road outside and the Sevok Road junction were horribly congested and dirty. Also, rooms need to have atleast a bedside drawer or a locker somewhere. Special mention to Biswanath Maity, Debasmita, the Castor manager and Roshan or Rohan the serving hand. Good experience.

I have attended several meetings in this hotel. The hotel's cleanliness and food quality are both exceptional. The staff's behaviour is highly commendable and they consistently maintain superior etiquette.
