Hotel Mount View Siliguri

Located very close to the station, with friendly staff. However, the hotel falls short in terms of value, especially at Rs. 1700 per night. The geyser was not working, there was no tea or dental kit, and the tap water was muddy. The highlight, unintentionally, was a rate chart behind the door listing charges like Rs. 200 for staining the bed and Rs. 50 for breaking a glass, which looked funny. Overall, it's okay if you need something right near the junction, but there are better options available at the same price.

Overall fair enough if you are focused on staying near junction. Other than that, no proper amenities are available. No phone to call reception. No water glasses in rooms. Geyser leaking, lights not working. Water boiler not working. No sleepers chappal for bathroom. Staffs are friendly and well behaved.

Rooms are just ok and small in size. It is a very old hotel. The towel and bedsheets was not clean. Overall a good stay due to the good location.

Worst stayed they did not provide plates they didn't provide dental kit tea was served in cutting glass so chip class hotal and even service was worst I talk with front office person regarding the incident that they did not provide me plates and all but no response nothing was done to solve the problem even at the time of check in also we were not informed and no whare in ota plateform it was not mantion .. worst service even they did not try to solve the problem.. waste of money it was better to donate the money reather than booking this chip property.

It was one of the worst experiences ever for me for staying in a hotel. The rooms were extremely small for three people, very suffocating. The hotel ameneities werent good enough for even a two star hotel not even a phone to call the reception or restaurant. The blankets, bed sheets etc werent clean, even after complaining they didnt give a better alternative. Dont fall for the pictures on the internet its no way a three star hotel.The only good part is the location of the hotel. Quality of mattresses extremely bad quality.Cant complain about the behaviour of the staff.

I stayed with my wife and 2 kids in the A/C triple room for one night while transiting through Siliguri. Rooms are very small with little to no space around the beds. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and there were lots of dirt marks on the walls. Toilet was also not very clean and smelly. The only two good things were the food and service/people. The people were very friendly and tried to do their best to make our stay comfortable but the building/facilities were just old and poor. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty.

Looks like it is very old Hotel. We stayed for one night enroute to our Bhutan trip. Room is not spacious.

Pros: Staffs were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is located in prime location of Siliguri. Room was so spacious and neat and tidy. Cleaning staffs do great job in managing the room. Eventhough old lift, it was properly maintained. Geaser was very functional. Cons: AC which acted like cooler, 32 degrees or 20 degrees! No difference. Water from the tap/shower were bit muddy or lets say dirty. It would be better if they could give two 1 liter bottles of water instead of a bottle only. A white light would also be better along with yellowish light in the room. Beds sound old, especially fatigued springs. This can be good thing for many but not for me-food menu in the room has only veg options, I prefer non-veg.
