Hotel Golden Inn, Sevoke Road, Siliguri

A Decent Stopover on the Way to Gangtok - Basic but Useful While on my way from Siliguri to Gangtok, my cab driver suggested stopping at this restaurant, saying it's the best available option on this route--and he wasn't wrong. There really aren't many good food options once you leave Siliguri, so it's a practical stop to fuel up before the long journey. The place isn't fancy, but they do have a wide variety of sweets and snacks. Since I was fasting, I opted for the Jain Thali, which turned out to be quite satisfying. The food was decent, and I appreciated that they had something suitable for my dietary needs. That said, I'm giving three stars mainly because of the service. It was slow and not very attentive, which took away from the overall experience. There are definitely areas for improvement in terms of cleanliness, service, and hospitality. Still, for travelers heading toward Gangtok, this place is worth a quick stop. Just don't expect too much--it's about managing and making it through a long journey with a full stomach.

Rooms r neat and clean. Staffs r very cooperative. It is on the way of Kalimpong and Sikkim. staying very comfortable

Since 2016 I stay here whenever I'm out of station bcoz it's situated on the way and good in services and staff are well mannered.

Staff behavior is very poor .. Manager behavior is very very bad . Name is Ratik.. They are forcing to my family check out late night because of . Booking non AC room but asking to switch on the AC . As per room trfic asking extra money over the phone.. ..very very very behavior and service of staff... Request to gues don't book the hotel...

This is the best such budget hotel in Sewak Road, Siliguri. Staff behaviour, services, connectivity and customized food are all better

We stayed here for 3 days. It was nice. Their service was definitely good. They respond very well. It takes time to cook but they serve by the intimated time. Food is tasty. Breakfast which is continental is great. It is located at the heart of Siliguri in Sevoke road. Everything goes fine here. Even there is no water problem. The only thing is there is no wifi and TV signal. When we switched on the TV, channels weren't there. Even the staff didn't respond to us. I felt bad and concentrated on my Phone.
