Amazing find/property in Siliguri. Was really pleased and impressed with the style language of Ashiana.Nestled in a quiet place with greenery and plants welcoming you as soon as you enter. Not to mention the 3 adorable dogs! The interior takes you back in time withl antique decor and furniture. So tastefully done. Rooms are clean n comfortable and no complaints about the food. All in all a wonderful experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Cheers to the staff too. !
Title: Charming Vintage Escape I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming vintage hotel, and it was a truly unique experience. From the moment I stepped through the ornate double doors, I felt like I had stepped back in time. The lobby's antique furnishings and decor immediately set the tone for the entire stay. It was like a journey into the past, with vintage photos on the walls and a grand chandelier that illuminated the room with an old-world elegance. Must Visit
It's pathrtic hotel, Toilet was dirty and black from inside. Wash basin is broken. No Gyser in one room, Manager is very rude and no sense how to talk with guest. Food is horrible. Our friends and family stay is spoiled and very painful. Lastly manager shouted and said to leave the hotel at rhe time of check out.
Good service and good rooms.
Excellent atmosphere and ambience. Quiet..elegant. Staff is polite and helpful too. Best place to stay in the area.
A Budget Stay with Quirks: Delight Ashiana, Siliguri Location: Delight Ashiana, 34, 2, Patel Road, Ward 3, Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri, West Bengal 734003 Stayed: December 2023 As part of our Bhutan trip in December 2023, we booked a one-night stay at Delight Ashiana in Siliguri. Located on a bustling street near the main road, the hotel stands amidst a cluster of other accommodation options. Priced at Rs. 2000/-, which included breakfast and taxes, our expectations were set for a budget-friendly experience. Accommodation: The rooms, though functional, were somewhat disappointing. The aging infrastructure was evident, and the absence of modern amenities like card-accessible rooms emphasized the hotel's dated technology. The use of traditional keys rather than electronic cards may evoke a sense of nostalgia but could be inconvenient for guests accustomed to more contemporary systems. The overall ambiance of the rooms leaned towards mediocre, lacking the charm or sophistication one might expect. Dining Experience: The on-site restaurant, situated on the ground floor, was serviceable but far from impressive. We noted that the staff preferred room service, possibly due to their sleeping quarters being in the dining area. The food, while adequate, was not remarkable and could be considered average at best. For a one-night stay, the dining facilities sufficed, but those with culinary expectations might be better off exploring nearby eateries. Parking Facilities: One notable drawback was the limited parking space available at Delight Ashiana. Motorbike owners might find the small designated area suitable, accommodating 2-3 bikes. However, for those with four-wheelers, the only option seemed to be parking on the road, which could be inconvenient and pose a security concern. Ambiance and Technology: The building itself exuded a sense of antiquity, and the lack of modern amenities reflected in both the architecture and technological features. While some guests may appreciate the retro charm, others might find the absence of contemporary conveniences less appealing. The old-fashioned key mechanism for room access was a notable example of the hotel's resistance to technological upgrades. Insect Woes: An unfortunate downside to our stay was the prevalence of mosquitoes, particularly in common areas. Although the hotel provided mosquito repellents, the issue persisted, making spending time outside the rooms uncomfortable. Guests should be cautious and take necessary precautions to avoid these pesky insects. Conclusion: Average Stay In summary, Delight Ashiana offers an average stay suitable for short durations. The budget-friendly pricing may attract travelers looking for a quick stopover, but those seeking modern amenities and a more comfortable experience might want to explore other options in the vicinity. The hotel's quirks, such as the dated technology and limited parking, should be taken into consideration when planning a stay at this Siliguri establishment.
