I had a very bad experience living in this hotel. The bed sheet was covered with blood, and asked to replace but they denied and hardly they try to manage but the other was also the same. The manager of the hotel needs to learn some hospitality lessons.
It's below average hotel. I recently visited. and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite its promising name, the hotel failed to meet even basic expectations, and the high prices charged on arrival added to the disappointment. Ambiance: The first impression of the Grand Heritage Inn was underwhelming. The lobby appeared dated, with worn-out furniture and a lack of cleanliness. The ambiance was far from welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was more reminiscent of a budget motel rather than a heritage inn. Room Quality: The room quality was subpar. The furnishings were old and showed significant wear and tear. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linens did not appear freshly laundered. The bathroom was cramped, and the fixtures were outdated, with a leaky faucet and poor water pressure. Despite the claims of providing a "luxurious stay," the reality was quite the opposite. Service: Service at the Grand Heritage Inn was below average. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to requests. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism and courtesy, which further detracted from the overall experience. The housekeeping was inconsistent, with several areas of the room left uncleaned during my stay. Booking and Pricing: One of the most frustrating aspects was the hotel's refusal to accept Oyo bookings, despite being listed on their platform. This caused considerable inconvenience upon arrival. Additionally, the price charged at check-in was exorbitantly high compared to what was initially quoted online. There was no justification for the inflated rates given disappointing choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay. The outdated facilities, lackluster service, and unjustified high prices make it a poor value for money. I would strongly recommend looking for alternative accommodations that offer better quality and transparency in pricing.
I had a disappointing experience at this 3rd class hotel. The manager's rudeness and poor communication skills made the stay unpleasant. The service was subpar, and the hotel demanded extra money, deviating from OYO policies. Not recommended due to the overall lack of hospitality and professionalism. I echo your sentiments. It's disheartening to say, but I also wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It stands out as the worst option in the entire area, given its poor service, management issues, and departure from standard policies.
It was such a terrible experience in Siliguri for the first time , they put the contact number on maps which connect to the Oyo directly but after booked the room , we reached the property they told us to we don't have booking and we don't provide the room for oyo booking customer so after many time I called oyo customer care they are asking again again booking iD, while hold for a hours they cut the call. The property manager told us to call the Oyo . Completely scammed me , we waited for 3 hours for booked accommodation, finally we were disappointed and decided to go somewhere else to stay a night. I suggest to everyone to not go to this hotel and in Siliguri please do not search for an Oyo. Even they don't deserve 1 star.
From the outside, the hotel looks fine. But the staff is the real problem. They do not care about the guests and are very rude and arrogant. I was traveling solo and went to the reception to get a room. I was getting a cheaper price online (booking.com) and when I was about to book it, the person at the reception said, "if online is cheaper, he will not give me the room". I asked, "even after online payment and confirmation?". To my surprise, he said, "yes we will not give you the room". Very bad experience! I immediately exited the hotel and booked at Hotel Park heaven instead. It is just adjacent to this hotel and staff is way more helpful and polite. I suggest skip this hotel and go elsewhere.
Rooms were too small. Lots of restrictions such as outside food not allowed. I ordered tea and aloo paratha from hotel and both of them tasted horrible. Price of the food items were too high. Early in the morning we have no other option than to order tea from hotel. No complimentary water bottles were provided to us, citing the reason that we booked the rooms through OYO. Instructions were provided to us that if any food/curry fell on bedsheets or blankets, rs500 will be charged, but the interesting thing is there were no tables in the room. In that case, if we order food from hotel where can we eat them?? We were very cautious in eating the food in room, hence preferred going out and eating the food in many occasion. While booking the room on OYO it showed a balcony room, however on arrival in the hotel premise they said balcony rooms were not available. Hopefully my review can help others.
Not only did they charge more money from me coz i booked on oyo i had to pay 700 extra just coz i booked through oyo. The staff were rude, room was so tiny you suffocate if you smoke inside, there is just no space left to linger with the bed and the sofa inside. There is no wifi at this price. This was by far the worst experience i had in a hotel DO NOT GO FOR THIS HOTEL.
