Tropicana Beach Resort

My stay at this hotel in Mandarmani was an absolute disaster. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the management and staff were completely unprofessional. Many of them, including the manager, seemed to be in a constant hangover and showed no interest in attending to guests. Staff shortage was a recurring issue, and the manager's go-to response for everything was, "Give me 5 minutes" -- which was never followed by any action. He would either forget or disappear completely. I had requested an extra pillow around 8 PM, and despite repeated follow-ups, it was never delivered. By 11 PM, I found the manager casually drinking beer in his ground floor room, ignoring all guest concerns. Another excuse they constantly gave was that there were "too many checkouts" happening, and that's why they couldn't address current guests' needs. But frankly, that is not the guest's problem -- it's the hotel's responsibility to be adequately staffed and organized. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all during my stay. When I complained, the manager said, "Please try again, it will work." It never did. Food service was another nightmare. I placed an order at 12 PM, and it wasn't delivered until 3 PM -- cold and disappointing. Their so-called swimming pool was just as bad. Loud, ear-splitting music was blasted near the pool, making it impossible to relax. And when I finally decided to use it, I was told it was closed because someone had vomited in it -- with no attempt to clean or reopen it. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had in India. Poor service, terrible management, and a complete lack of basic hospitality. I strongly recommend staying far away from this place.

Hotel is at a good location around 20 m from the beach with shacks available where you can try the fresh crabs and other sea food. The rooms were clean and spacious but it lacked the view , there is a swimming pool available. Would recommend it for boys outing or people who would like to stay in the room and dnt care much about extra facilities. Price is okay but can get better. Staff is polite and helpful.

went with family last year in monsoon season. Hotel entrance and reception were completely under water. No drainage policy. Reached hotel around 12 pm and returned next morning 5 am although breakfast was included in package. Manager/owner didn't bother to solve any issue. Room service was very bad and delayed. Didn't deduct single rupee after many hassles we faced.

Had a great stay the rooms were fantastic n cozy and the staff were also friendly and well behaved. Manager soumyadip is very decent and helpful person So good. We will visit again soon.

Excellent We originally booked for two nights but ended up staying longer. The location is excellent and the staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable.

Location location and location only 2 mins walking distance from a virgin beach. Well behaved staff neat and clean rooms. Flexible policy

Worst of Mandarmani. Had a stay for couple of days. The service was too below the mark and the staffs are extremely unprofessional and inexperienced. They have no idea of guest management during peak times. Billing process was like roadside food stalls. During check out they just provided a piece of paper bill which includes GST. If you are coming to Mandarmani, please avoid this hotel.
