I stayed here for 2 nights in Dec, 2023 with my family along with my 3 year daughter. Rooms are very good. Washrooms are also clear. They provide room service everyday. Service is very good. Staffs are very well behaved. Manager also very good. Only issue with location. It's bit far from the city and situated in remote place. Feedback: Breakfast should be included in package. Toilet seat should get replaced in few rooms of ground floor and first floor.

I stayed here for a night on 30 dec 2024. It is a 5-10min car ride from the Sonajhuri Haat. Probably the back side of it, set a bit interiorly. There are several other resorts and hotels nearby, so safety is ensured. The area of the resort is big enough. The rooms are uniquely named after characters created by Guru Rabindranath Tagore. The building is uniquely built, with a wonderful outdoor sitting area. They have tables set with garden umbrellas, infront of their big metal figurine of BonBibi. They also have cane tools and tables set outside, with beautiful flowers. They also have two indoor covered sitting areas for relaxing. They have an art and crafts store, where one might get a glimpse and also buy local craft work, away from the hustle of the haat. It has three floors in total as of 2024. The backside of the building overlooks a wide expanse of green field. It has a big enough parking area for cars. No extra charges for parking. The decor of the resort is well maintained. Also, there are several other resorts to choose from nearby, I must say. The room tarrifs vary a lot depending upon the season. The staff is good. But the amenities are not quite up to date I must say. There were a lot of issues faced with door locks and geyser. No handwash or soap was provided, even on request. Only one towel and one 1 shampoo sachet per room. Other guests were heard complaining too. Food preparation takes an hour. And dinner order need to be placed by 8. Lunch is available only till 3. Food is okayish. DO NOT try their chicken sandwich. A waste of 80. Tea, poori sabzi is not good either. I recommend egg toast for breakfast, and most definitely roti egg tarka for dinner. Their rotis are amazing and light, order more than you usually eat, and the egg tarka too, was amazing. Overall it is a nice place to stay, where you can have a lazy morning or dinner.

This is a very late review. I visited Shantiniketan during 9th of March, 2019 and stayed at Aparjita Resort. After having a terribly bad experience at Poushali Hotel we moved to this place for a day. Extremely good and well maintained property. Very good behavior of the manger. The green lawn in front the property is an ideal place to spend during early morning and late afternoon. The rooms and toilet were very clean and well maintained. Service is also very good. The pebbled pathways are very refreshing to walk upon. We spent a very good and peaceful time here during our stay. Very near to Sonajhuri Haat, can be reached by walking. Basundhara Arts and Craft Store inside the property has a very good collection of collectibles.

Hotel was with good ambience. But manager had issues with the menu! Apparently they can make a new dish outside their menu and charge u lil extra! Without confronting u on the first place. So be aware.

Very beautiful place to stay in the lap of nature.....good for couples.... awesome food quality....price reasonable...very helpful staff...service and behaviour very good....rooms good comfortable and cozy with clean bathroom....at a walking distance from sonajhuri haat e....a must visit and stay... would love to come back again!
