Mrigana The feedback after the first time staying in the hotel: 1. First fay the breakfast was badly delayed. 2. The whole bathroom got wet when one person takes a bath as there is no partition or shower curtain between the shower area and the rest of the toilet area. This can be quite slippery and dangerous. 3. Also each room had only one key and if by mistake the door was shut with the key inside, it became an extremely difficult situation. We faced this problem in the first day. 4. The lights turned on when the key goes in the socket also whole room will be dark after key is out of the socket ( it was difficult for my mom who had to stay in the room dark when we were out). 5. Glass window locks were broken ( all of them) 6. Curtains were not fully closed, old and dusty. 7. No one came to clean the bathroom/ room/ change sheets. I would not recommend this hotel until they do necessary repairs, cleaning and maintenance. Please do your best to make your tourist experience memorable.

A Serene Retreat Close to Nature I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mrigana, located just a short walk from Deer Park in Santiniketan, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The property beautifully balances comfort with the essence of rural Bengal, creating a serene and rejuvenating escape from city life. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by lush greenery was a highlight. The staff was exceptionally friendly, warm, and attentive, always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. One of the best parts of staying at Mrigana is its proximity to the Deer Park and other cultural sites in Santiniketan. It's ideal for those who want to explore Rabindranath Tagore's Santiniketan and experience the local art and culture, while still being able to retreat to a peaceful, private spot at the end of the day. The food was homely and delicious, reflecting the flavors of Bengali cuisine, and the dining area offers a lovely spot to relax and enjoy meals with a view. I would highly recommend Mrigana to anyone looking for a tranquil, nature-inspired getaway that offers easy access to Santiniketan's cultural heritage.
