MOONRISE RESORT

Full points for the extraordinary view! If you are willing to take a grasp of nature's fresh breath, Moonrise is the place to visit. We had a great quality time. You can explore the surrounding forest and trails for an adventurous experience. However, you should stay cautious of your surroundings as a lot of wild animals linger around the forest. The food service can however be improved a bit. I would highly recommend you all to book a room at this place when visiting Purulia.

Beautiful views, staff are very helpful and attentive. The resort's dining options were equally impressive. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and unforgettable trip.

This resort is very good.And it is within nature. and just opposite Matha pahar. all meals are excellent. we stayed 1 night here.

Our room was clean, but felt damp due to the AC not working efficiently. The air coming out of the vents were slightly cooler than air from a fan. They sent a tech, but nothing was resolved. We kept the AC running all day from 3pm but the temp in the room did not budge. The outside temp wasn't that hot either (low 80s). The tech acknowledged the AC system was weak and the coils probably need to replaced. He suggested bringing in a fan to cool down the room. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Due to the extensive time involved in fixing this problem, the hotel did not fix it. They had no other rooms available on that day. They tried to comp the valet for me, but I told them the problem had to be fixed. Unfortunately, by the time we were checking out.. nothing had been done. I wished the hotel management was more accountable for this problem by checking up on me after their attempt to "repair" the AC.Worst experience ever

We stayed a night at Moonrise Resort three days ago.It was a very pleasing experience.Food and lodging is very good and comfortable.Behaviour of the staff is cordial.We are charmed at beautiful atmosphere.

I have visited Purulia before but never heard of this place. The location is amazing, need serenity? It's your place. The resort is far from the locality and the last 500m is a bit tricky, Rainy days can make road conditions even worse. Foods and behaviour of stuff is good.
