ATC Samalbong Paharer Bari - Best Kalimpong Offbeat

In a word, amazing. The food quality is very good. You will get Bengali food in a completely Bengali style. The service is impeccable. You can see the amazing view of Kanchenjunga if the sky is clear. The rooms are completely made like a mountain residence. Mostly visit if you want to spend some time alone with your loved ones.

The food was really good. The service was also good. But the rooms cam definitely be much better. They have big rooms but those are not decorated or maintained well. Also, there was a stench we got from somewhere.. Location is okay.

Loved the experience here.. Room and beds were fine, the food was good and the hospitality was warm! There is scarcity of water in that place but the staffs put all their efforts to make sure that the guests don't face any issues. The only thing is that the rooms need is a bit of maintainance. The village is a small piece of heaven. You can spend a whole say looking at the breathtaking view of the mountains from the view point! Will surely visit again.

It was a great experience. We only felt that the rent was a little bit expensive according to the room provided to us. Geyser was not sufficient.

Worst Homestay We stayed there for 1 day.. The village SAMALBONG is wonderful...But this Homestay is a complete fraud.. 1) Worst behavior of stuffs. 2) Worst room (Room looks cool in picture but in reality it is so dirty..) 3) No lock and key provided in the room.. They will tell you " Lock karne ka zaroorat nahi hay.. Idhar chori nahi hota hay".. 4) We reached at 12 pm, but they provide us our rooms at 1 pm.. 5) And the worst thing is, jokhon amra ei point gulo nia kotha boli, tokhon onara nijeder vul sikar na kore justification dewar chesta korche...

It's a really awesome feeling to here. It's really good, & foods are also very tasteful & rooms are very clean. All staffs are very polite, respectful and helpful.
