ROHINI HOMESTAY

THE HOSTS ASKED ME TO STAY AT THEIR NEW PROPERTY AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. THERE WAS NO WATER. AND I HAD TO PACK MY BAGS AND LEAVE EARLY IN THE MORNING BECAUSE OF THIS. COULDN'T EVEN USE THE WASHROOM. ROOMS ARE TINY. WASHROOM IS DAMP WITH NO VENTILATION. THEIR PET DOG LOITERS IN ANY TIME. AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I CALLED, THE HOST JUST DID NOT RECEIVE. DEPLORABLE. PLEASE DO NOT STAY THERE. IT'LL SCAR YOUR HOLIDAY MEMORIES FOR LIFE.

Very nice experience staying there, their hospitality, service and food is excellent. It's only 30 min driving from Darjeeling more. I was about to reach Siliguri around 6:30pm, going to the hills is in night was risky. But, staying at Siliguri was wastage. So, we decided to go to Rohini Homestay. And we checked in there within 7pm. Morning time beautifully spent at the nearby Rohini park and trecking to a temple.

Just opened now.. till waiting for completion. But wish to tell that the owner is very down to earth and educated and helpful man.. we love him. U r thankful to him for his warm reception. A pleasant staying experience gathered from here. I wish to stay here always when will come for north bengal trip..

To my surprise an acknowledged site like "Bookings.com" had shown photographs of Rohini Homestay which did not match with ground reality . In addition the place was not worthy of the fare we paid. I was totally disappointed. That Homestays down around Bangalore were much better, that the following requires attention if it needs to be included in Bookings .com site,,,,,||a) The phot graphs promoting the site needs a thorough redressal||b) The beds meant for sleeping couple were meant for individuals who are 5 feet tall and slim, not meant for six foot tall senior citizens||c) One of the three rooms we were allotted had its WC without floor fastener hence it wobbled.||d) Another of the three rooms had its bathroom drainage chocked and water egress was very very slow||e) There was no running hot water in any bathroom and we had to do with hot water in a bucket provided by the current "owner" Anurag Thapa||f) In the bathroom the mirror provided was of six inches and no fixation in front but on a peg to the left.||g). Over all all our needs were meant by smiling owner who understood the drawbacks and deficiencies.||2. My sincere request is that the photographs on Bookings.com be updated and the fare be lowered, else the clause that there will be no refund be removed. Obviously once paid we cannot retract and have to lump it.

Basic rooms to stay for a night on your onward journey. The owners and care takers are very friendly. Food is simple but excellent. Overall, value for money.

Best place to chill out with friends.. at resonable price. Quality and quantity of food is good. I recommend to all you to visit once at this place for refeshment and make your weekends holiday best.

Good experience to spend a night there. Uncle and aunt (hosts) both are good with their smiling faces. Parking is available here. Food is good, rooms are good as well. There are four rooms.
