Hosanna Homestay in Risheehat is set in a tranquil location surrounded by natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for those seeking peace and serenity. The hosts are friendly, and the home-cooked meals are a real highlight of the stay. The picturesque views of the mountains and the lush tea garden are also major positives of the property. However, we had a disappointing experience with our booking. We had confirmed a cottage room well in advance, and the owner had confirmed our reservation over the phone with an advance payment. Unfortunately, upon arriving, we were informed that the cottage we had booked was allocated to another guest. To make matters worse, the alternative room they offered was not at all comparable to the cottage we had initially booked, and it did not meet our expectations in terms of comfort or quality. In terms of compensation the owner did a negligible amount of discounts on our stay . While the homestay offers basic amenities like Wi-Fi and heating, and the location is relatively close to Darjeeling's main attractions, the issue with our booking left a negative impression. It's important to note that communication about reservations could be better, and guests should be prepared for potential changes in room allocation. Overall, despite the beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality, the experience was marred by this unfortunate booking issue. I would recommend confirming all details carefully before arrival to avoid any surprises.

Staying here is a extraordinary experience. Calm and quiet environment you will enjoy. Darjeeling is just opposite side of this homestay. And the stunning KANCHENJUNGA! Wow!

The host is great but the support staff don't have hospitality skills at all. The place is not for an aged person or who has any difficulty for stairs.

I booked this homestay from 5th to 8th of December but had to cut it short due to medical reasons. However, in just two n half days of stay we have had a wonderful experience and feel of The Great Himalaya. Owners of homestay Mr. Daya and Ms Sabina ji were very cordial, they gave us warm welcome. The two brothers, Kewal and Chotu were just superb. You place an order and you'll be served in no time. I also want to take this opportunity to write something about the young man Mr. Pravesh, the person who drove us to the all tourist locations. He was just awesome. I am happy and will miss them until my next visit. Cheers!!

The best home stay ever !!!!! Really enjoyed a lot. The rooms,the services, the food and especially the behaviour of all of them is so nice that I can't even explain in words. If you wanna enjoy the trip then I think it's the right place for you. You'll not be disappointed for sure.

I recently stayed at Hosina Homestay, and it was an incredible experience. The homestay is beautifully located, providing a serene atmosphere with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-furnished, ensuring a comfortable stay.
