Hotel Surja Laxmi

-The staff at night shift was unprofessional. -We took a double bed a/c room 2 single beds were joined together and because of that we couldn't sleep as even the mattress was also not good. -They said they have a restaurant so we ordered around 10 as closing time was 11pm for the restaurant. Chana masala and tandoori roti(after 30mins they said it is not available) so we replaced with tawa roti. And the food was disaster chana masala was stale even chapti also. We complained and they said they can replace it but it was soo late that we eat maggi cuppa noodles that we had with us. - Few staffs were drinking at night. Not recommended for family.

Budget place with decent amenities and enough spacious rooms. Staff was helpful and the property had sufficient parking. Bed mattress could have been more comfortable, washrooms need maintenance. Overall a satisfactory place to halt on a road to siliguri.

Went for a Get-together with teacher and friends. The hall is large enough for more than 400 people. Completely Air Conditioned. Good Atmosphere.

"HOTEL SURJA LAXMI" IS AN AMAZING HOTEL THEIR ROOMS WERE VERY GOOD. THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT WAS GOOD TOO. FROM TOP TO BOTTOM THE HOTEL WAS TOTALLY CLEAN. THEY HAVE AN HOMELY ATMOSPHERE. AND OVERALL IT'S A GREAT CHOICE TO STAY OVER.

The room in which we stayed is nice. Photos are attached in maps. We got working geyser in our room. We got tea sachet with electric kettle, dental kit, soap, shampoo and a comb complementary. The food is also standard in taste with decent price. Room service is also available. The only drawback is that only married couples are allowed. I have been to so many places and stayed at so many hotels, be it cheap or luxury, or village or metropolitan cities. Never ever have seen this ridiculous rule. I am 30 now as I am writing this review. Stayed at the hotel 2 days back. I don't go around with my marriage surname or my husband's address wala id card, nor I carry myself like a married women. Thank god I had my marriage certificate as a soft copy, we were allowed to stay. Also there was one specially abled guy at the reception, when manager was not around he behaved rudely with us. Gave us the key and said just go up and left and straight for the room. Only when the manager came after 2 minutes he escorted us to our room(which should be the protocol when it comes to hotel service). I don't understand why he was so shocked to see me being married and didn't change my surname or address. I went there for business purpose and when we had to do early checkin at 6 o clock I did face this problem. There should be a note in the hotel somewhere that if you are an adult and not married or you dont have a marriage proof, you are NOT ALLOWED IN THE PROPERTY. Ridiculous!!

Worst food ever i eat never losse yoir money

Please check this hotel before booking online. They will tell you one before booking and give one after booking. And the staff service is horrible, they treat the customers very badly, the bathroom is not clean, the space is very small, so the rent of this hotel is much higher than other hotels in Raiganj, so please check this hotel before booking.
