Jharna Resort

To attend AGM of a family company, we went to this resort recently. The property is quite well maintained and has 49 rooms inlcuding few in cottages. Large lawn is suitable to hold outdoor activities. Lunch at its restaurant for us strict vegetarians was good. Banquet hall would have done better with no pillars in the middle. A good place to hold meetings, conferences, marriage functions and other functions.

Very nice experience. Staff was very kind. Cannot speak of the food.. JUST DELICIOUS! Rooms very properly maintained. Overall it was wonderful! Pools, Rooms, Atmosphere, Service, especially Food were just . Would like to visit again. Ten out of Ten.

Didn't expect the resort to be that good. We wanted to visit Ayodhya Hills and drive for 7-8 hours was tiresome so we took a break at Jharna Resorts. Just beside the highway close to Purulia, this is a clean resting place. We stayed in deluxe rooms with a swimming pool view. What we liked was the behavior of every staff member. Check-in and check out were a smooth process. The buffet breakfast wasn't elaborate but good enough, worth the money charged. The premises were kept clean, rooms tidy and fast service. We appreciate the taste of the owner, cottages named after local dances, neat lawns, and arrangements for parties.

Had an awesome experience at the resort. Drinks and food everything is good. Pool timings are till 8 but they allowed us till the time we wanted to. At the pool area drinks are allowed from the bar near by. Also they will take snacks orders there itself Had booked suite rooms which was nice and big. Morning complementary breakfast is a must try

The food quality is excellent, and we are very impressed with the service. Suriya and Soumen were well-behaved, attentive, and consistently served us with a smiling face. Their professionalism and warm demeanor truly enhanced our experience. Keep up the great work

We had a very good experience with the resort. The room was clean and spacious and all of the staffs were courteous. The in-house restaurant had good food also. Special thanks to the housekeeping staffs, Vikash and Prasanjeet and Manager Mr Bhuban, for making our stay pleasant.

It was a night stay of our family to our Ranchi Purulia tour.we booked that hotey due to pet friendly facility.That was reminded to the authority at the time of booking . We have stayed in a cottage room. Room was clean, well furnished..but very small. Wash room was small. .. Food was tasty, but over priced. I think, Room tariff also over priced, House keeping service absolutely very good.Now, we want to focus about the rude, arrogant behaviour of manager. Though, It was a pet friendly hotel, manager imposed restriction of my pet on the walking of hotel premises, though web site of the hotel included it as a pet friendly. Never think to stay in the hotel with your loving pet, Manager will advise you, to keep your pet in the room only . What a inhuman activity of authority?? Break fast was okay with Bengali, south indian items.Received warm hospitality at breakfast table . ...

It's a good resort located not very far from the city. It was a good and comfortable stay, therefore I feel they should focus on improving their service as I felt it was quite slow. Overall it was a good stay
