What a beautiful place lovely,, Mr ganesh he is very good in cooking just fabulous.... We're very happy

We had stayed there for 2 days. The service, food and behaviour of the persons working there specially Ganesh the caretaker was exceptional. Really good cook. Also arrange barbeque chicken which was awesome. Really liked the spot and the ambience. But the rooms need to be provided with basic amenities like wardrobe to keep luggage and other belongings since the space of the room specially in the old bungalow is small.

I had stayed there from 15.10.2021 to 17.10.2021. stayed with my wife and 2 years old daughter. Let me first cover the cons. Cons 1. Most important that they do not have any back up power supply (neighbouring resort have the generator support.) We stayed 2 nights. On 15th night whole night there was no power and we barely sleeps in that hot and humid situation. You can't open the window due to fly and mosquito. On 16th since evening no power till 2300 hrs. You can't even eat properly as they have very minimum number of emergency light available. They not even provide candles for the room. When I made a complaint to the owner on whatsapp she blocked me. 2. Rooms are pretty basic..No cupboard to keep your staff. 3. They do not provide exra bedsheet until you ask for it. 4. One small TV is provided in each room. Trust me this is the smallest TV is had ever seen in my life. they do not recharge the tata sky connection. Upon asking they said noone watch TV thus they stopped the recharge. Though we insist on the recharge and then they had done the same. 5. Only one small LED bulb is provided in the room And it feels very gloomy in the evening. 6. During booking it was mentioned that it is double bedroom. Please do not have a false hope that you can sleep comfortable with your small baby in the bed. It is so small that 2 adult barely fits in. 7. Better to carry your own soap and towel. They only provide one small soap for each room. If you ask for more they sometimes provide and sometimes they forget. 8. Too much flys. Pros 1. The location is good. Calm and peaceful. 2. Caretaker Mr. Ganeah and other staffs are is very helpful. 3. Food prepared are light and good in taste Verdict If you are traveling with family better to avoid as they had charged me 5600 INR including 3 times meal for 1 room 2 adult . So if you are comfortable with hot weather and no power supply you can consider staying. Otherwise you can skip this resort. Lastly when i raised the complaint to the owner they simply ignore the same and blocked me without giving answer to my complaint. Very unprofessional. It was the first long weekend of May. Getting bored by daily office life, me and my wife decided to go for a long bike trip to Baranti. Depending upon few feedback, we had decided to stay at Aranyak. On the way we called the owner Mr. Mukul Das and luckily got a room. ||||We reached around 5 PM. The caretaker Ganesh welcome us with Tele-Bhaja Muri and tea. It was like a home stay. Room was big enough, not so much well decorated, but neat & clean.||||Baranti was amazing and far away from common humdrum of city life. We went near the dam to enjoy the sunset. Till 7.30 we were there and then returned back to the resort. Till 11 pm, we enjoyed the silent night with gentle breeze on the balcony and garden in-front of the resort. Dinner was very tasty alu posto, chicken, rice/roti, chatni. ||||Next day morning we went for JoyChandi Pahar, Garh Panchkot and Biharinath. We completed those before lunch. Afternoon we visit nearby forests and before sunset reached near dam and back to resort @ 7.30.||||It was a full moon night. Some of our friends suggested us to visit dam at night. The resort guys also assured us that it's completely safe. Around 10 we again visited the dam. It was awesome and the most beautiful part of our visit.||||This hotel (rather the home stay) is very friendly and situated in a very peaceful area. Mainly Ganesh and his father (they are from nearby village) maintain it. You'll get a home like atmosphere here.||||Some Notes:||1. Safe for family, children. The hotel costs around 800-900 per room.||2. As per the local guys, it is a peaceful locality, no political problem till now.||3. Must try Alu Posto, cooked by Ganesh.||4. Jay Chandi, Garh Panchkot, Biharinath, Maithon, Panchet are within 30 Km.||5. Only summer time is off season. All other seasons even on weeks days resorts are almost full. So better to book it before journey. No spot booking done to avoid any harassment.||6. Restaurants are not available nearby, better to order lunch/dinner in resort. Aranyak charges around 200/- for food per day.||7. Google map will show one left from Raniganj (through Mejia), as the road condition is bad you can avoid that. Better go left from Asansol.||8. I'll recommend it as I like to avoid any chaos.

Its a budget accommodation at Baranti. Little fat away from the Dam, one can take a walk around the Dam to experience the beauty of nature.|Staff here are very good and food is simple. There are other similar hotels/resorts around the place which serve little better service and view from those Resorts are better.

If you want to feel the flavour of Baranti then one can stay at a property nearer to the lake and hill. But this property is about 20 minutes of work from Lake. Property is so so and there are dearth of basic amenities. But though stuffs are well behaved and helped a lot. I like to say impartially that if there is a chance to get in a property nearer to lake/hill ,that will be a better option for tourist.

Excellent stay for 3 days, we were the group of 11 person, booked around 2 months earlier. We planned to stay at Baranti during the Holi festival. Now to share my experience regarding our stay at "Aaronyak" I am feeling highly excited because, it was a splendid holiday outing for all of us. Especially the Resort was extremely good, 1) Food quality really awesome 2) Cleanliness of served food as well as kitchen was great 3) Service quality and behaviour of the staff were so good 4) Sceneic beauty of the resort is magnificent and flowers in the garden are well maintained 5) Rooms and bedsheets are clean Great place to visit for small groups of arount 10-15 persons Dhiman Karmakar/Amitava Dasgupata/Somnath Chakraborty _ Khardaha

I along with my family visited Baranti and stayed at Aaronnok hotel. Baranti is famous for natural beauty but to feel it you have to walk a mile i.e. more than a kilometer. The property is so so but stuffs are quite helpful. Food is not so tasty but the price is also within limit.Any tourist who visits Baranti may take the property as the last choice. Other properties like Nature Camp/ Manbhum/Akashmoni are nearer to tthe dam. Baranti Tourist Point, the will be best on is on the verge of opening.
