Royal Heritage Camp

SUMMARY: Terrible service. Was so dirty. No one to clean up rooms. The boys working there refuse to work. Food was terrible. A simple roti was so tough to chew. No one responds to any service requests. The rooms are incredibly small and dingy. Please read on to know the exact issues we faced. SPECIFIC ISSUES WE FACED 1. The water was over in the morning we checked out and the manager picked up after multiple calls and even then it took a while for the water supply to be restored. 2. We had said that the dinner to be served at 8.30 as we had to sleep early and were travelling w senior citizens. They said that they couldn't serve so early (I don't know how is 8.30 pm early) and they would serve at 9. Even then the food was served at 9.30 that too after repeated calling. 3. We asked for an extra mattress as we were three people and they provided it however they took away the bedsheet for the same the second day of our stay and didn't provide us even after asking. 4. The bedsheets, pillow covers, blanket covers all had suspicious stains of oil and other fluids which looked oddly like bodily fluids. The pillows and cushions had mold blooming on it. 5. We asked for towels as there were non provided in the room. However, when asked they brought a singular towel, that too wet, that too after an hour. We reiterated we'd be needing 3 as we're in a triple occupancy room as had been booked and still got 2 after 2 more hours. 6. No toiletries are provided. Even in forest resorts of nearby locality there are toiletries provided. 7. We asked for room cleaning and they asked one of the boys to clean however the boys outright refused to work. The same boy the previous day when asked to clean the bathroom (it was wet), went ahead and tried using our personal loofah to do the same. When scolded for the same he brought a thin handkerchief to do the job (spoiler alert: it did not do the job) 8. Everything is apparently closed on Thursday. All sightseeing worth doing is closed on Thursday. The manager was guiding us and also aware of our itinerary, however, he didn't inform us of the same and we wasted our entire day roaming around. When we confronted the manager regarding the same he simply said "it slipped his mind".

Nice place to hangout for a night. Service personnel should all be trained on sound line of hospitality management.

The view is great...and it's a very peaceful place....the garden is well maintained...the room is very comfortable...the sound of Holong river (I'm unable to explain its beauty through words)...peacocks and other birds were calling.....No matter how much I talk about this place, it will be less for the scenery and nature.... The starry night and the moonlight filled my eyes with peace

Very well maintained property with great view and one can expect a quiet, peaceful stay here. Fully satisfied with the rooms and amenities, service, hospitality and food quality here. The manager and all the staff are very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the stay very much here .

Strictly avoid this place . Horrible service , apathetic manager , dirty rooms . Only location is nice .

Nice accommodation,clean and well maintained, river and jungle view available. Maneger and staffs are well behaved. Foods are less spicy and tasty.

The best resort that i have had visited yet. Very picturesque with clean tidy rooms. And special mention to the staff service, which is simply awesome. I have been to so many hotels & resorts but this has the best customer service. Special hoot for the manager Mr. Soumyadeep who was very helpful and pro active. A must go resort if you are visiting Jaldapara.

An excellent resort just opposite of Jaldapara Forest and adjacent to the Hollong River flowing by its side. The views from the Resort are simply superb. The cottages are quite comfortable and the exterior looks very nice. Well maintained lawn. Food served is very nice. Staff well behaved and Manager Mr. Saumyadipta takes excellent care of everything.
