New hotel with good experience.|Pros:|1. Really good location. Everything at your vinicity.|2. Room is good in size and well maintained. Same is also applicable for toilet.|3. there are very few hotels in darjeeling, which have lift. And this hotel is one of them.|4. In house resturant also serve good food.|5. Valley view rooms are great. Specially at 4th floor.|Cons: |1. A old dustbin before the main entrance is a eye shore.|2. No option for bengali cuisine at in house resturent. Though probably more than 70% visitors of darjeeling are bengali.|3. There are few chargeable items are placed on table in room. In my opinion, as the price of these things is not high at all, so these items can be kept as welcome items instead of chargeable.

Beautiful stay!|Gakhil Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Darjeeling. It is close to the mall road and feels in the city center. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful, especially Mr. Suraj. The room was very pleasant, cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to him with all your concerns and it would be solved immediately. On our next stays, we will definitely check into Gakhil Hotel again.

Rooms are excellent. Food is not good. If someone comes with family and want to spend maximum time with his family in mall road, then it will be best hotel for them. But you dont see Kanchenjunga from the hotel room properly. Only u can only get side view. After charging premium they didnot provide complimentary breakfast.

The place is located right on the Mall Road and yet feels super quiet as the room is sound proofed. The place is very well maintained and possibly has one of the best chef for Asian food. Try their Bao's and thukpas. The rooms were very clean and so were the washrooms. The manager Zaed is very helpful and always smiling and very accommodating. Great experience and awesome view from the room.

Very good location once you checked in as its dot on Mall Road, the negative is that cars are not allowed on Mall Road and you have to get down around 450 m away. Though the hotel send boys to pick the luggage but the reception considers Goibibo guests with partiality as they did call a day before reaching but never mentioned that that we should call them 15 mins before reaching the location to enable them send boys. They plainly mentioned that Goibibo should inform guests and not us. Surprised. I hope they will come out of this partiality and consider guest as guest. Nevertheless the hotel is beautiful with big rooms and very clean. The restaurant is good too. There were less guests and hence buffet for breakfast was not there but they served what all we wanted Recommended

Hello guys,, please help me find the guy i met in a clothing store near this hotel..the store was on the zakir hussain road in the right side of the road when entered from the circular fountain... He works in that store,a white,very cute, tall nepali guy(ig) lips pinkish and little bigger than the other people there.. I'm rating this 5 stars so please help me find him... Upload photos of the clothing stores in this area for me please...and if you see anyone like the above described guy,, please ask his name for me and reply here.

Best hotel on Darjeeling mall as on date. All sorts of amenities available as in 4star hotel. Restaurant provides choiciest of the menu. Chef and cooks are amazing. Luxurious breakfast with North Indian, South Indian & continental varieties. Hotel has elevator which makes it convenient for senior citizens and people with knee pain. Special mention to hotel manager Zaed. He is an amazing hotel taking personal care of each guest's personal needs/whishes..proactively suggesting best options available with a every lasting smile. God bless him always. Will return for sure
