Shreemaa Resort

Very poor service. No concern about guests. No hot water except 1 hr in morning. Only local Drinking water, which is very bad. Water supply in basins and toilet is from adjacent open pond. Linens seemed used for multiple times and are not clean enough.

Arriving here from riverjetty is a bit tough for older people and disabled persons but considering every years twister and cyclone here in Sunderban, they have done all they can. The room service is good. The food is not bad. Not all rooms have attached geyser but they make up that by supplying hot water in buckets.

Even if this Lodge is not that popular but I can guarantee that it's far far far better than every 5 star lodges out there! It just opened this December and is very very clean and well maintained . Bathroom is heaven and bed and pillow is too much comfortable to give 1 less star!!!

Worst service one can probably get. Basically it's just a building where you can stay. Non functional kitchen, muddy water from local pond, ac only from 6pm-6am(don't know why they hell are they charging for AC rooms if it won't be available for me whenever i want),communication gap between staffs and they even sometimes forget where they kept their keys of main gate and hence you will be trapped here the whole morning until they somehow manage to find the keys. There are far better lodges available nearby

Worst experience... No hospitality No hygiene Just basic rooms with least amenities. Disgusting part :- water provided in basin and washroom are being fed to overhead tank from a nearby pond. The water is muddy in appreance. Unfit for bathing, brushing or any kind of daily needs. Mosquitoes are the only companion at night.

Location wise it was awesome, if you would like to see the river view then u have stay 2nd floor as top floor or 1st floor. Balcony direction is strictly east thats why You can witness of the sunrise. Water supply is also good here(Supply from Local Pond, Some time may be muddy.) Cons. AC power on off is controlled by them. They off ur main switch at 7 am daily. Water Heater: Ask to on. No doubt this is goof hotel in this area.

Excellent hospitality, ever smiling service staff, exquisite cuisine, stupendous menu and above all the honest and hardworking localites of Gosaba are the best USPs of Shree Ma lodge
