Hotel was good. But I booked hotel for 2 persons. But when I entered in room I got two separate beds which I was not expecting. If a person is booking for two persons, so unless and until we as a customer not asking explicitly to give 2 separate beds, we should give single big bed only. They given solution by merging both the single beds, but that was very very uncomfortable.

Stayed there for a short time. But, overall a nice experience. -Easy check in/out -Good breakfast menu, though quite costly -Very near to the airport - Rooms could be more spacious as felt quite compact - Food is good

Very small room. Not worthy for the cost and size of room. For everything checkin or food or any room service upfront payment has to be made. No outside food allowed. Full time traffic noise inside room, sound proofing is bad. Building is shaking like Earth quake tremors sometimes. Food is average and expensive.

I recently stayed at Ethnotel Kolkata, expecting a comfortable experience due to its proximity to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, but unfortunately, my stay was disappointing.Rooms & Cleanliness:The biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness. The room felt dirty, with visible dust, stained linens, and an unpleasant odor. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and there were signs of poor maintenance.Service & Staff:The staff was polite, but their responsiveness was slow. Housekeeping took too long to address cleanliness concerns, and overall service did not meet expectations.Dining Experience:The food was average, with limited options. Room service was slow, and the quality did not justify the price.Noise Levels:Being near the airport, the rooms were quite noisy, and the soundproofing was inadequate. It was difficult to get a peaceful rest.Overall Impression:While the hotel's location is convenient, the dirty rooms and slow service made the stay uncomfortable. It needs better maintenance and improved service to justify its pricing. I wouldn't recommend it unless cleanliness improves.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. We specifically booked this place near the airport for a quick halt and confirmed in advance that our guest would be arriving at 5 AM. The staff assured us there would be no issue. However, when the time came, they completely denied their earlier commitment and demanded an additional 1200 plus GST for just half an hour. The lack of coordination among the team is appalling. The manager, Abhilash, was extremely rude and stubborn, showing no willingness to resolve the situation. It completely ruined the experience. As for the rooms, they were below par--smelly, with dirty bedsheets, and overall very poorly maintained. This hotel lacks professionalism, basic hospitality, and cleanliness. Stay away if you want a hassle-free experience.

Everyone must visit especially those who belong to Kolkata, It has a good ambience, good quality of food and hospitality. Their price is quite reasonable compared to the standard of quality.

The Hotel cleanliness and service is terrible. When I enter the hotel the toilet was dirty with shits on the side. Beside my room was maintenance going on, the smell of the Glue for the carpet was so strong it was smoke in my room. My room was beside the main road, all night was sound of car passing by and also sunlight comes early as the window curtain does not stop the sunlight come inside.

Comparatively smaller rooms, nut service and support and excellent. mostly international cuisine are confusing. Chef himself is not able to explain the cousin.
