Average stay but good experience. Yet, this place has a lot of potential to grow. The services were slow. The staff needs to be trained more. Food was sumptuous amount and well prepared. Overall experience was good for a day outing/picnic/family or friends group get together/ a night stay. Maintenance of the room needs to be updated. Hopefully, in the near future, they will keep growing more. As just 1 and half hours away from Kolkata city, this place does give you a feel of being away from the city hustle and being at peace.

We visited for a weekend getaway. There is a swimming pool, color of the water indicates clearly that it hadn't been cleaned for a while. Understaffed, the same guys were seen to be working throughout the 2 days of my stay. From welcoming us, serving lunch, evening snacks, dinner and to breakfast the following morning, they were the same guys working to exhaustion. Property is huge, but failed miserably in maintaining cleanliness. Rooms were fine, but if you could provide clean bedsheets, pillow cover and towels, that would have helped. Aah, the food, something is off on that part. Ain't that great.. and my kid has a diarrhoea and on medication for over a week now... Looks can be deceptive... Do not go only by images that you see of the property online....

We had booked a five-bed room at Antarmahal, expecting a wonderful ladies' trip. Unfortunately, our stay was a huge letdown. The room was great, but the bathroom was in horrible condition, infested with centipedes. We had to request a room change at 11 PM due to the unhygienic conditions. The new room had mysterious noises that kept us awake all night. My two friends are still in trauma. The staff attributed the noises to a stray cat, but we weren't convinced. To make matters worse, the food quality was subpar. The rice was hard, and dishes like 'Chitol Macher Muitha' and 'Daab Chingri' didn't meet our expectations. The payesh had a smoky smell. Considering the quality and quantity, the food was overpriced. What was supposed to be a memorable trip turned into a nightmare due to these issues. On a positive note, some staff members were very helpful - Sutanu and Pintu at the front office, Manager Anupam, and a young restaurant staff member (unfortunately, we forgot his name). Overall, our experience was marred by poor management and maintenance issues. Hopefully, the management will take feedback seriously to improve their services.

We stayed at Bawali Farmhouse from March 1st to 2nd, and it was a complete disaster. The place is severely understaffed--only one lady at reception doing everything and just one person serving food. Lunch was pre-ordered a day before, yet we had to wait an hour. The food was extremely ordinary, and the mutton was all bones and fat. Whatever we asked for--curd, sweets, even basic fruits--was unavailable. The restaurant AC didn't work, and we were sweating while eating. The plates were dirty, and when we wiped them, the tissue turned black. ||||The treehouse room was full of cockroaches, and the washroom had no water in the cistern. We complained multiple times, but no one was at the reception. At midnight, we had to roam around the resort looking for a plumber--unbelievable. And guess what? The washroom was never fixed. ||||Breakfast was just as bad--stale food, no variety, and only one person serving. The dining area wasn't even decorated, making it feel dull and unwelcoming. ||||To make things worse, we tried several times to meet the manager, but he was nowhere to be found. Clearly, they don't care about guests. ||||Bawali Farmhouse was amazing in 2018, but now it's a total scam. They are looting people with high prices and horrible service. Avoid this place at all costs.

Negative maintenance in the room, Asst.Manager(?) dark complexion very unprofessional. Pls.keep it in mind guests come here for relaxation, for fresh air for body & mind not to receive ur negative attitude in terms of service. Think for better service for boarders and don't make false commitments before booking. Ladies at reception are smart & cooperative but helpless with existing poor logistic support over there. Food stuff appreciable.Sitting arrangements bogus.In a scorching heat open air sitting set up- how u arrange for lunch, breakfast for the guests ? without much much better service arrangements within few days farm house might be a jungle for insects, foxes and snakes.

My fourth time here and am still loving it.... Less than 2 hrs of journey for a weekend nestled in nature and complemented with lip smacking food and an ambience that seems to only get better with time..... Eagerly waiting my next visit.....

Hello, Here is regarding a feedback after our visit to Bawali farmhouse yesterday. It's was our 3rd visit,13th October 24,13th April 25 and 11th May 25. After 2 visits I planned to take out parents to your property. It was a day out at bunoful and dehottoter Gan. At 5.40pm I called to order for tea as it was desire of our parents. I reply i received is---- "*as it's day out you cannot have the tea now in room*" We understand the rules,but it was still 20 mins left... Hardly we would have taken 10mins more to leave the rooms!! But is this the kind of too much mechanical professionalism expected? They are after all senior citizens,and we are repeatedly visiting your property,still this much couldn't be done? They left without having tea!! When it comes to parents everyone is sensitive.

One of the best properties that has one of the worst management. I think owners had to play a major role. Especially during festive season. We travelled during Holi and it's a property with 32 rooms with staff handling capacity of only 10 rooms was available and it was a chaotic place the moment we arrived. We booked 3 rooms and only got 1 room after 1 hour of waiting and other two after 3.30 pm. Service was one of the worst I can imagine and I will not blame staff but the owner as they do not have adequate number of staff to handle at full capacity. Every other guest was affected and dejected as if they have been cheated for the quality of service which was provided to them. Owner please take care. Ur staff donot deserve this
