Atmaja the Cottage Garden (under tourism dept. govt. of West Bengal)

Stopped for one night with our dogs. Place is good for the dogs because it has some open area. Room itself was dim and not too clean. The cottage and its outsides are cute though. No food is available, but the Swiggy worked well.

The place was really quiet and the morning vibes are really good with birds chirping. They also have a good garden. The manager helped us to get a Toto to reach Atmaja during night. They also provided morning tea and biscuits with a reasonable rate. The help desk said that swiggies and Zomato services are available at that place but we did not try. Hot water facilities is also available. However, the room and washroom could have been more neat and clean.

The room was not bad. The location was a bit remote, but if you have an entire day then the inside ambience of the property is good. For food you have to inform them in advance. The only problem is to enter your car inside the property, due to gate issues.

It was a really good experience staying here. The place is very nice, with a garden and open space for our fur babies. They can play and enjoy themselves thoroughly. The arrangements are good with all the facilities. The staff are very polite and helpful. I recommend everyone to stay here as it is quite and peaceful from the hustle of the main town. :)

Atmaja Cottage garden is good destination at Malda to spend 1 or mone night.It is very near to the town but having feelings of too far. Well maintained garden with beautiful Ambience.Rooms are very clean with all basic amenities. Not so much of concretization made it so special and beautiful.Home made food was too Good. I really enjoyed.

We had to book a night's stay in Atmaja Cottage and had a very good overall experience there. The cottage is surrounded by nature and is very peaceful. The host served us home made food which was excellent! Nice clean rooms and good service by staff. They are pet friendly and my dog felt at home immediately in this place and had ample space to run and play around. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a stay in Malda. Update: We stayed again this June for a night while returning from Gangtok and as expected the stay was very pleasant with home cooked delicious dinner served to us. The cottage garden is a great place to roam around and feel close to the nature.

With a dog, it is the best choice as per us, in Malda. You have plenty of space, lawn and a very homely environment. Yes, you may feel that it is away from the town, but isn't that what you need while taking a break. Location is good, rooms are decent and the staff is perfect - cooperative and nice. Place is exactly as it is in the pictures.

A picture perfect countryside homestay one may call. Perfect place to stay outside the city crowd with fresh air, ample parking space and huge garden to play around for children and pets especially. Food is very nice. Price is right for the quality of the stay and food. One little problem- there's gap beneath room entrance door, gaps in toilet ceiling. Since this homestay is in complete village and little bit forest we felt snakes and rodents may slide in through these gaps easily. Otherwise perfect homestay.
