Jalchhabi Hotel and Resort

Excellent location. Booked a cottage, which had very nice view. The rooms are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was decent. In general the food is what one would expect in a good restaurant, but it missed the native touch, which I did not like very much. The cost is way too high though for the services you get - not value for money. Staff behaviour is very polite and they are quite helpful. Note - Don't ask the security at the gate to wash your car. For me they demanded 200 bucks for normal cleaning with a bucket of water. That was a strong negative.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The surroundings were peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it easy to unwind and leave the stress of daily life behind.||The room was cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering both comfort and functionality. We especially loved waking up to the tranquil views each morning--it truly added to the relaxing vibe of the place. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, always ready to assist with a smile and helpful suggestions for local attractions.||What really stood out was the thoughtful attention to detail, from the well-prepared breakfast to the seamless check-in process. The location was also ideal, tucked away enough for peace and quiet, yet still conveniently close to shops and eateries.||The only reason it's not a full five stars is that the Wi-Fi connection could be a bit more stable, especially for those needing to stay connected. However, for a short escape from the hustle and bustle, it's near perfect. Definitely planning to return for another refreshing weekend soon!

Wonderful place to stay in Murshidabad. Located alongside the Bhagirati (Hooghly) river and easily accessible by road from Behrampur. This vast property is very safe and picturesque, with lots of parking space.|We booked directly with the hotel and stayed in their Elegant mini suite room 201 on the 1st Floor of the main building (they have only 1 suite room in this category). As we were 3 Adults, this suite room with an attached sitting room and TWO WASHROOMS was perfectly suited for us. This property also has a number of cottage accommodation.|The restaurant menu was vast and the food quality was very good. The Complimentary breakfast spread was also very good. |The staff were very helpful and cooperative.|

The rooms are spacious and well maintained Service at the restaurant is prompt. Food is tasty and the staff are well behaved & courteous. The location is very good....beside the Bhagirati river. The breeze brings a sense of calmness. Overall, the stay was good and since it's away from the din & bustle of city life, you get to see a lot of greenery around.

A Refreshing Surprise It was quite unexpected to come across such a beautiful and well-maintained resort in a place like Murshidabad. The setting is serene, right by the riverside, and the ambience feels calm and refreshing. The services were prompt and professional. We had a dinner buffet arranged, and the food turned out to be surprisingly good -- well-cooked, flavorful, and neatly presented. The resort has a spacious banquet area, which makes it a great venue for family events and gatherings. The rooms are generously sized with all necessary in-room facilities. Clean linen, good air conditioning, and neat bathrooms made the stay comfortable. One of the most unique features of this resort is its private double-decker river cruise boat, which can accommodate up to 60 people. It's a fantastic option for small events, sightseeing cruises, or just spending a peaceful evening on the water. Overall, Jalchhabi is a great find in Murshidabad -- ideal for both relaxation and hosting events, and a place I'd definitely recommend if you're visiting the area.

Had an amazing stay at the resort! The food was scrumptious as well as in good amount. Buffet breakfast was elaborate and the staff at the restaurant were very polite and cooperative. Located just beside the Bhagirathi river made the ambience all the more pleasant.

Fantastic resort. Well maintained and very clean. Food is also good. Service is excellent. The property is located very close to the main tourist spots. They arranged for a boat ride in the evening in the Bhagirathi river. It was worth an experience
