Hotel Hazarduari,Royal Nawab Mahal- Murshidabad, West Bengal

The hotel was amazing! Great view, organised room, food quality, kind behaviour, what else do you need? The view from the rooftop is wonderful, the food is tasty, the lawn area is perfect, the rooms are organised, the staffs are very kind to the guest. They maintain good hygiene. There is also a place where different birds are kept in glass boxes and cages. They welcome guests and take them to the gate of the hotel under a fancy and designed umbrella, then they throw flowers to us to welcome the guests, after that they serve welcome drinks to the guests. The service is very good. One will feel like Nawab in the hotel. Just love it!

Excellent, Owner, Manager and staffs behaved very well with us, their service is also very good, the rooms are very clean and well maintained, they are very much aware about security of the boarders, all the food items are very tasty. One can have the views of historical Hazarduary from roof. Hazarduary is in walking distance from hotel. Hotel is located inside a lane near Hazarduary but cars can enter in this lane.

The stay was excellent. Rooms, Ambience, food everything was just too good. Would luv to come back again.

This place is located very close to both Murshidabad station and Hazarduari Palace . We spent 2 days and one night at this place. Its a nice homestay with all amenities beautiful garden and a great rooftop. Enjoyed beautiful view of beautifully lit Hazarduari palace at night from the rooftop. The house is filled with antique furniture, four poster beds, beautiful art pieces. The food was top notch and the biriyani was Chicken chaap was the best. Last but not the least the hospitality was the best thing about this place. We were attended by Mr Ronit Sarkar and Mr. Tapas Mondal both of whom are extremely hospitable and personally took care of all our neeeds and requests.

We had a very pleasant stay in Nawab Mahal. We were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. The hotel is an erstwhile palace of the Nawab of Murshidabad and the furniture and the architecture gives a very royal feeling once you enter the gates of this hotel. The quality of the food served is excellent. Overall, it was a lovely experience staying in this hotel.

Those who have interest in history as we have dream of the life style, food habit and other personal issues of kings, nawabs, maharajas, rajas, etc. We had the occasion to visit this marvelous royal home stay "Royal Nawab Mahal" located and run by none other than one of the descendents of Nawab of Murshidabad in the Nawabi abode. We are overwhelmed with the warmth, the royal reception, the royal food with innumerable sumptuous varieties of food, the royal bed and the whole ambience. The staff members are also just superb. Money can give anybody an opportunity to visit and stay in any of the modern seven stars hotels anywhere, but I can, without any doubt, from my own experience say that this royal touch will not be available in those places. I started feeling like a member of the Nawab family only without having attire and crown during my stay here. All historical places in Murshidabad are conveniently accessible from this place including a memorable big size boat ride for hours together on the almost translucent water of the river Bhagirathi. Without giving a second thought I will again visit this place again and again if my health permits.
