Hotel Anurag

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. In videos and photos the rooms are great but in real the room was so dirty, the bedsheet were dirty, and the blankets too. Second problem was electricity, power cut of for the whole night, they have a genaretor but they don't turn it on. And the biggest problem was water, no water in our room. It was a problem for our room only. There are two managers in the hotel. When there was no water coming in the bathroom, we went to the manager, and said the problem, but they didn't take any action. There was no water in the bathroom so we couldn't have a bath so we were getting late to go out for the side scene. The first manager told us to use the bathroom next to our room. But suddenly one person came and locked the room. So we can't even use that bathroom too. So my mother went to the manager and asked him why he locked the room? So that manager shouted at my old mother even used abusing and offensive words on my mother. So rude behaviour of the manager. All manager should respect their customers, in fact it was their problem not us, and we were keep adjusting with them since the last night. And they shouted and used offensive words against us? We never got harrassed in any hotel earlier. If I ever visit murshidabad, I am sure we will not go to this hotel. Practically I am giving it a 0 star. We can deal with this dirty room, but we can't deal with this dirty behaviour. So bad experience. I can spend a night on the road but we will not come to this hotel again. A man don't have any rights to talk to woman in this way when there is no fault of hers. Think 100 times before coming to this hotel, especially when you have a woman with you. I have never seen someone behaving like this with his customers.

Location is great, fair price, but not good rooms, specially bathrooms are dirty. No beside switch

Blanket with bad smell & dirty bed sheet... otherwise location is satisfactory

1. Bed sheets as well as blanket not washed properly, lot of blood stain and some kind of whitish watery fluid present. 2. All the items in washroom not cleaned properly, geyser not available. 3. Receptionist behaviour was very awaful. 4. Making everyone fools by sending good pictures, in reality it's not upto the mark.

If you want to stay comfortably, this hotel is NOT the one for you. We visited Murshidabad 1st time last week & was terribly disappointed with this hotel. No amenities at all- the fan regulator doesn't work, commodes don't have any seats, the water pressure in the bathroom is extremely low, the AC makes weird noises when turned on. Moreover, the entire night from 11p.m to 8a.m. There was power cut. The room got filled with mosquitoes despite having all the windows shut. Utterly uncomfortable experience. Also, they take money in advance & don't refund if you check out earlier than usual. Think 10 times before booking.

Excellent location, just beside the famous Hazarduari Palace and Imambada. Service was not so good though. The rooms were not clean enough and the flash boxes of the bathrooms were not working, hope they will look into this matter ...

Wrost hotel i have ever seen very bad management bathroom was unclean flush was not working properly they charge Rs 750 per day, before you check inn in the hotel they will take your orginal id card and when u check out then they will reture you. I personally suggest you not to stay in this hotel there are so many hotel nearby area with low cost. Hotel Anurag

The stay was worth every penny.. just a few seconds in walking from the Hajar Duari Entrance Gate.. We were charged a minimal fee and the roof top features a good view of the palace. The staffs were quite friendly. A good recommendation for everyone to check in to the place.
