I have been to so many places in India and have been to so many resorts around but my experience here is indeed top notch. The hospitality is a 10 on 10. Ashish is a wonderful host I must mention. I had a lot of interaction with Eric and Raj and they were very supportive all through out. The view of Kangchenjunga from my room, the silence of the pine trees around , the balcony view and the bathtub with a view made is worth the stay. The trek near by is also totally worthy. The evening with sound and music and bonfire was made super special. A special thanks to the awesome chef , for the food was a 10 on 10

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel nestled in the heart of nature, and it was truly a refreshing experience. The location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy some peace and greenery. Surrounded by trees, fresh air, and beautiful scenery, the place offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were always polite, attentive, and genuinely cared about our comfort. What really stood out was their consistent check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed -- without ever being intrusive. It felt like they were always one step ahead in offering help or assistance. However, I was a bit disappointed with the in-room entertainment options. The TV only had a very limited selection of channels, and many of the standard ones you'd expect weren't available. It seemed like the hotel was using a very basic subscription package, which didn't match the otherwise upscale feel of the place. If you're someone who likes to unwind with a bit of TV after a long day, this might be a drawback. I'd recommend the hotel consider upgrading their channel subscription to offer more variety and better entertainment options for guests. Overall, a good stay -- just don't count on much from the TV. The service was always on time, whether it was food, room service, or any requests we had. Everything was handled promptly and efficiently, which added to the overall smooth and stress-free experience Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality and top-notch service! Special mention of Service Boys: Rupak, Eric, Raj and Abhiram for their continues service throughout. Last but not least, a special mention goes to Ashish, the Manager, whose exceptional handling of the property services exceeded all expectations but not the least. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Room is spacious with glass windows and doors giving a panoramic view of Himalayas.The room has a electric kettle, room heater.We have spend hours sitting in the balcony and enjoyed the serenity. Bathroom is spacious with a bathtub facing pine trees. Special mention for Mr. Asish Tamang who guided us for a trek. He has been ever careful to us. For housekeeping Rupak, Adip, Anuj, Deepak, Prewang, Sonam have kept the room absolutely clean. Arik, Aviram, Raj have provided whatever we asked for.

It was a awesome experience.. Services are top class. Rooms are beautiful they kept very clean. Atmosphere is very very nice, surrounded with greenery. It's worth it to spend the money. Amenities lovely. Staffs are very helpful and polite. Now they are our extended family

The hotel is at fantastic location and behavior of all staff is excellent .The food is so testy and delicious. The room ambience is very good and specious. The bathroom is big one and with bathtub.The manager him self take us for trekking and it was so adventurous. The staff Aviram , Raj and Eric and manager Ashish's behavior was very good and all staff are very caring.

Excellent staff, great food, rooms are good , bathrooms are superb !! |I would say it's much better to stay in this resort at Mirik rather staying in any hotel at Gangtok.|Ashish is the manager here who's friendly and so are the owners (if you happened to meet them). ||Strongly recommend!!

We visited Amaira Resort in April, 2025 and booked the family room. It was me, my wife, our 9-month-old daughter, and my in-laws. The resort is beautifully decorated and offers a game room that both adults and children can enjoy. There's also a dining room and an open rooftop seating area where you can sip tea or coffee while soaking in the stunning surroundings. The location is delightfully secluded, which we really appreciated--it felt like a true getaway. At times, the clouds literally drifted into our room, creating a magical experience. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff were extremely courteous and attentive to all our needs. The lunch and dinner menus offered decent variety, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The staff went out of their way to prepare a special khichdi with just boiled vegetables and no salt for our baby, which we truly appreciated. Room service was prompt, and every staff member was warm, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile--it really uplifted the overall mood of our stay. Special note - They even couriered some of the stuff we left behind mistakenly. The rooms themselves were beautifully designed and well-maintained. The bathroom was particularly impressive--spacious, clean, and equipped with a bathtub and 24-hour hot water. The only slight drawback was that the family room appeared larger in the photos than it actually was. Still, it was spacious and comfortable enough for four adults and a child. Prices--both for the rooms and the restaurant--are on the higher side, but given the exceptional service and overall experience, they felt reasonably justified. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend Amaira Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. If it fits your budget, I'm confident you'll enjoy it as much as we did. Found this gem on Booking.com and decided to spend a night here on our trip around the region. We reached the hotel early and were greeted and given a room by the warmest staff. The room was spacious and bed linen particularly worth a mention. Bath was well appointed and spacious with a view of the cascading pine trees from the tub. Balcony had great views as well. What makes this resort special is the staff. They all go over and beyond their call if duty and care for their guests as they would , their family. The manager Aashish leads by example. We did a small hike with him and throughly enjoyed it. He was there to see if everything was OK all the time. |Had lunch and dinner here ,which was delicious. Breakfast was served hot and had a good variety. Food is cooked fresh and takes time. So please do order ahead and it will be ready at the stipulated time. They have a common area and some entertainment on most evenings. They also had a bonfire in the evening. Cannot recommend this place enough. A must stay when in Mirik.
