Horrible experience I have ever had in my life. The hotel personnel especially the manager starts with "NO" in all aspects rather I would say any kind of co operation you need. Food quality is worst. We had a conferance out there some of our guests have affected by food poisoning and dysentery. The service which they are providing is just outraging.

My recent stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla in Mayapur was an experience I deeply regret. It is with utmost concern that I share the series of unsettling incidents that unfolded during my visit. This review aims to caution potential guests against the pitfalls and scams perpetrated by this establishment, urging them to seek alternative accommodations for a genuinely enjoyable stay in Mayapur.||From the outset, Hotel Sonar Bangla's deceptive practices were apparent. Despite paying an additional fee for a pool view room, I was dismayed to discover that the room provided offered no such view. This deliberate act of misleading guests not only betrayed their trust but also exemplified the hotel's lack of integrity.||Compounding my dissatisfaction was the management's blatant disregard for guest comfort and safety. Despite repeated complaints about insects and mosquitoes infesting my room, the hotel failed to take any meaningful action to address the issue. This neglect of guest well-being is utterly unacceptable, as it not only compromises the quality of the stay but also poses potential health risks.||Moreover, my attempts to secure boiled apples for my 8-month-old infant were met with repeated indifference from the hotel staff. Their inexplicable inability to fulfill such a simple request displayed a lack of competence and a shocking disregard for the needs of guests. This fundamental failure in providing basic services further accentuated the hotel's lack of professionalism.||The culinary experience at Hotel Sonar Bangla was marred by excessive use of spices and food coloring. This not only compromised the taste but also raised concerns about the potential health hazards posed by such practices. The hotel's prioritization of visual appeal over food safety is deeply concerning and falls far below the expected standards of a reputable establishment.||In a startling revelation, I discovered a scam orchestrated by the hotel's Manager, Sudip, and front desk personnel, Biplob. They instructed the housekeeping staff to hide the Haier TV remote control, only to demand an exorbitant fee of Rs. 2500 for its rental. This deceitful scheme aimed to exploit unsuspecting guests for financial gain. The staff's intentional irritability and confrontation when confronted about the missing remote further underscored the hotel's unscrupulous practices.||Adding to the litany of disappointments, the hotel lacked intercom services, leaving guests with only two unreachable mobile numbers for placing orders or making requests. This communication breakdown severely impacted the overall service quality and rendered basic amenities unattainable. For instance, despite requesting water at 10 pm, it was not delivered until the following morning, just moments before breakfast. Such a lapse in service reflects the hotel's disregard for guest needs and comfort.||To exacerbate matters, the absence of Wi-Fi and poor mobile network coverage further isolated guests from the outside world, intensifying feelings of frustration and helplessness. The condition of the swimming pool was equally disconcerting, as it was infested with dead insects, rendering it unhygienic and unfit for use. This lack of cleanliness raises serious concerns about the hotel's commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.||In conclusion, I strongly caution against selecting Hotel Sonar Bangla for your stay in Mayapur. Its deceitful practices, neglect of guest comfort and safety, incompetence in fulfilling basic requests, fraudulent schemes, lack of essential amenities, and disregard for cleanliness indicate a complete disregard for ethical standards. I implore prospective visitors to explore alternative accommodations that prioritize guest satisfaction, uphold integrity, and ensure a memorable stay in the beautiful destination of Mayapur. Do not let yourself become a victim of the exploitative practices of Hotel Sonar Bangla; choose wisely and make your stay truly remarkable.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel recently. Whilst the hotel scenery is very good, this hotel is very far from Mayapur temple - some 35 mins by Auto. Also the road leading to the hotel is appalling. There's absolutely nothing in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel staff are laid back and do not know what excellent service looks like. Swimming pool water is stagnant with dead insects floating . Public washrooms are dirty and infected with mosquitoes. Food is average. For me this place is very over rated.... 5.5/10. Whilst the property is fairly new the management and the staff don't do justice to the place. Lots of improvements needed and oh yes the Hotal Towels are of very poor quality. It leaves white bits on your face, clothes and hair. When I raised this with the staff....they said they are aware of the issue..... but so far done nothing

At the end of our 2 day stay hotel charged us rs 3000 + GST saying a bedsheet was torn in the room. There was no proof the bed sheet was torn by us. We had absolutely nothing to do with the small tear they showed in bedsheet but the lesson learnt was that once you enter the room in this property take off all linen and confirm that there are no tears. Else the insane property management is going to charge you insane amount like Rs 3000 + GST for a small team in the bedsheet.

Never come here, it's a fake hotel. The condition of the room is very bad and the condition of the toilet is even worse which is unusable. The behavior of the hotel boys is not good. Worst hotel in a word.

The check-in process was hectic. They even charge for getting photocopies of identity card. The stay in hotel is from 9 am to 9 am next day unlike other hotels which operates from 12 noon. The rooms are nice and tidy with limited geyser availability.

Verry poor service never I come again in this hotel in my whole life and I don't like any food this hotel and cleaning is very very poor and house keeping service are very week mis behave hotel hotel staf over all I would like to say that it is very very boring hotel in the india

Fully fraud & it's not sonar Bangla...it's another location but named sonar Bangla lodge....beware of it... please don't go there...my 2000 rupees wasted and also time... it's Highly not recommended
