Jagannath Guest House

I am giving this hotel a one-star rating because I stayed there for two days, and today, a disturbing incident happened with another visitor's family. On the ground floor, there is a huge gap between the two bathrooms that share a common wall between two rooms. This gap is large enough to cause serious privacy concerns. Today, a female (another family ) visitor went to take a bath, and another visitor from the adjacent room used a camera to record a video of her. This led to a major confrontation between the two families. Eventually, the accused was handed over to the police. When I asked the management why there was such a large gap between the common wall, they said it was for ventilation and claimed that such incidents had never happened before. I questioned how they could be so sure--just because someone was caught today doesn't mean similar incidents haven't occurred in the past without being noticed. My advice: if you value your family's safety and privacy, do not book this hotel. You might save some money by choosing this cheap hotel, but at what cost? Your female family members--your wife, daughter, or sister--deserve to feel safe. I booked this hotel based on its positive Google reviews, but now I wonder how it got such high ratings in the first place. I changed from a 5 to a 3 because as leaving the owner/staff starts to ask for tips. But tips for what? They didn't do anything for us, no food, no service but expected money and a tip. I already paid the room, so be lucky we stayed there, not expect more money because we are white! Very good value for money, very quiet, nice views from my room. Owner nice and helpful and young lad on reception was nice too. Room was very clean. Nothing to complain about with great value for money.

My stay at Jagannath guest house was absolutely fantastic! The room were impeccably clean and spacious , and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.The owner behavior is so cool.I highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting mayapur...

The behaviour of the staff and owner was very bad, the room service was useless and there was no towel or hand wash in the room and when you check out they also ask you for extra money for the service which we did not get I would never recommend this place to anyone to stay here And specially for family never go Very very very bad experience

One of the best guest room in Mayapur, nabadwip,,,, the best thing about this hotel is the location of this hotel ,,,, You can see Mother Ganga just sitting on the balcony of this hotel and Mayapur mandir is just 5-10 min walking distance.

The hotel is near iskcon mandir, hotel welfare is very good and peacefully ..hotel owner behavior is very good ...so please visit this hotel

It was really nice excellent. As we all girls stayed in this hotel so safety was more important for us and they didn't disappoint us . Location is really good just 2 minutes from Ganga .View of Ganga from the balcony was amazing.services , rooms everything is really good .
