Mathaburu Eco Resort

Very beautiful place for stay.the behaviour of the owner is extremely good and such a humble person.Food is also good . Only one negative thing is that the booking agent is not good at all . extra charges he have taken form us .He forwarded a chart for charges per person per day.we booked basic room but he have taken charge for deluxe room .when I actually knew this fact and called him he literally told us if you are not satisfied then you can cancel your booking. Unfortunately I have to accept his terms because we already taken leave and planned also .So my request to all of you be aware of this person. Owner is extremely good he even don't know this kind of things . I recommend all of you go and enjoy with your family and friends. Resort is just beside matha forest resort.

The Mathaburu eco resort is one of the best resorts to stay near Matha hill or pakhi pahar. Had an excellent stay here. 1. The first thing to mention is, their hospitality and staff behaviour. Everyone is so humble while talking to their guests. The boy named "Khudiram" was the best among them.(6/5) 2. Room quality is good. Little lack of maintenance for toilet. (4/5) 3. No such safety issue observed, also they had car parking inside the premises. 4. Food quality was excellent, like the finger licking good. Overall had a pleasant stay in this resort.

I am not recommending to any one, experience was not good. The owner's behaviour over the phone was very rough. Location was good & also quite. There was only one service boy khudiram who was very polite and try to manage the staff insufficiency of the whole resort & cook also good. Overall I will not visit this place again in future , there was many other resorts nearby with good ambience, hospitality in the same price range.

Mathaburu eco resort have a beautiful scenic view. However it is excessively priced with no amenities, below standard food quality and a very poor service.

Visited 21st dec 2024. Very beautiful resort and location is just awesome . Staff behaviour is also very nice . Everything is just awesome. Value for money.

Behavior of the Authority ( Owner especially ) is very bad , insufficient staff, they charges 1500 for chicken pokora where we provide the chicken. Ac is not working properly every alternative 4 hrs the ac is getting off. where we provide the cost for generator extra every time but we have to request the authority to turn on the Generator . Only the cook & khudiram ( who serves the food ) is good if google support then I'll give zero or Minus Rating.

Worst room service. The Guyser tap was deliberately locked off. The rooms shown on the website or brochure were totally different and hills are not visible from most of the rooms. No bills or receipts as they are not paying any GST.

Beautiful location, excellent homely food, excellent services and behaviour by the staff. There is room for improvement in the amenities however it is complete value for the charges... the view of the Matha hills and the quiet ambience of the forest makes it a serene wonderful stay...
