Gorumara Jungle resort

Worst experience i faced here. I stay for 2 days. Rooms are not good. Bad smell and rooms lights not working. I ordered my dinner they delivered it after 2 hour if i knock them twice. So bad service. I never recommend anyone for this resort. Its poor 1 star resort. Better go and stay small hotels than stay here. Only location is good here. Waste of money Everything is costly.

Definitely needs a lot of work and basic first aid facilities. They apparently do not keep first aid box which I believe is mandate for all facilities to have.

One of the best jungle camp in the middle of huge tea garden, just off the main road near Chalsa. Not too expensive, ample space inside to roam around. Our was suite rooms, room service and rooms were quite good compared to the location we were in. Only issue we faced was, the food was not upto the mark.

Excellent location. But the are still using the old name of the property which is very confusing. I lost money because of that. Room was nice, but no cleaning service. 5 days no bathroom or room cleaning. Service is sloppy though there are too many service people. Good for groups n those who don't mind sloppy services.

With a short notice, we planned our new year there. Rooms were decent and value for money. All the arrangements made by the owner and staff was quite impressive. Food was tasty and moreover despite of full crowd, they served on time. Bablu da and Chaitali Mam were very helpful and cooperative. GM, Puchu da and all staff were very good and well behaved. Enjoyed the stay. Hope to visit soon

While the rooms were decent and offered value for money during our stay for a family get-together, the overall experience was worst by subpar service. Despite booking for a group of around 40, there were several issues: 1. Just before the scheduled outdoor event with BBQ and campfire, we were informed that the outdoor halogen light was out of order and couldn't be fixed. Consequently, we had to relocate to an adjacent area. 2. They provided music system was non-functional, and at our request they co-ordinated for music system from market for which we paid separately. Even that did not work in desired manner. t. 3. At 10 pm, when we asked for dinner for our small children, we were informed that chicken was being prepared, leaving us with no option but to feed our kids without chicken. 4. The following morning, the breakfast (roti and potato sabji) was not ready until 1030 hrs, and we concluded our breakfast at 12pm. This lack of punctuality and service coordination left us completely dissatisfied with our overall experience. Behaviour and and functioning of staffs are absolutely unprofessional.

The Deluxe rooms are extremely fine. Specifically the rooms don't need room heaters as there is much warmth inside the rooms. The attached washrooms are also really good. This resort is within a tea estate so there are pretty nice views available. But there is a restaurant inside the resort. Annapurna restaurant. The food is not up to the mark. The location is also good at chalsa.

Stayed for one night at this property..rooms are wide.. Service is good. Big green lawn. Tea plant inside the property. Bird song.. If you want to feel the essence of dooars jungle this place is very good... Food quality is very good...only Issue that inside the room to many insects..after telling they sprayed anti cockroaches but still they are roaming in the bathroom and inside the room..that's the only issue.. Other wise very good property..
