Star Inn Resort

We recently visited Mandarmani and stayed in this beach front resort. Although we had stayed in this very same resort last time too, but after their recent renovation our stay became extremely enjoyable. We booked a seaview room. From room & balcony you will get breathtaking view of the sea round the clock. The staff are courteous and the food was delicious and the price is very reasonable. If you are a seafood lover don't forget to taste their special Lobster or Jumbo Prawn & Crab. Above all the best part is the beautiful location with a private beach with a clear view without any obstruction. Overall it was an unforgettable experience. Will come back again.

Visited Manadarmani on 10th May 2025. This hotel is not recommended to anyone be it a couple or family. Below are key reasons. 1. Very rude staff behaviour. 2. Bad room condition. 3. All day room booking should be paid in advance only and that is the trap. Now once you pay after that if you complain about bad service or no service they won't give a response. If you want to take more action they will ask you to leave. At midnight I saw one family being asked to leave one family with a kid. 4. The food is very pathetic even black tea is also so pathetic in taste. 5. Front view was block with some unfinished boundaries. 6. There is no good space to sit in hotel an enjoy the beach. 7. No water service 8. No complimentary Tea/breakfast. 9. No wifi 10. Very high food price with bad taste. 11. Electricity is cut down too frequently or they may stop electricity at night after a call they will start again.

A very beautiful experience all mixed together. One day, all the hotel guests spent a beautiful evening together. Special thanks to the hotel's director, Mr. Supratim Dutta. That day, a guest filled our hearts with songs all evening. I uploaded the video without informing him.

Ac rooms are available in cheap (~2500/- per night). However, service is not up to the mark; there is always a delay in response and the beach is not accessible easily due to the entrypoint. If you're looking for a cheap weekend stay, go ahead.

Very bad experience , Restaurant guy say no always when you order food you have to sleep hungry when you order any food, service is very bad , swiming pool is dirty , you will get sick out it , go anywhere but not place, you will regret of everything, AC not works properly, you will always get regret. Mangenge is very bad , trust me , you came here for relax but you will get anxiety & depression and price is also expensive in compression other better resort, I suggest you ILight resort just beside of this that one is best .

There is no working TV in any of the rooms , can you imagine, what kind of a hotel is that ????? Cottages were not at all up to the mark . Not good as per the price range of 3500+tax . Lizards were there, oh god .
