Seastar Resort Mandarmani

We have been to some of the well-known resorts in Mandarmani earlier. We were unaware about this resort, and we took a chance. It was a pleasant surprise. Stayed in sea facing room, there was a person assigned for our services. Sprawling area, two swimming pools, restaurants, and bars. The swimming pool was a beauty; big size, water falls on side, clean and well maintained. The complimentary buffet breakfast was adequate, and we liked the personalized care. The snacks and dinner we had from the restaurant were tasty and reasonably priced. The drink counter didn't have a peg system, but one had to buy a bottle. Cocktails were also not genuine. Rooms fine except the tap at the bathroom, broken. Overall, it was fine stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel resort, and it truly felt like stepping into a scene from a movie! The place is absolutely amazing - the garden area, the ambiance, everything about it is such a vibe. It's a perfect mix of relaxation and elegance, making the experience unforgettable. Special mention to Tapan from the Food and Beverage department, who went above and beyond to make my stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality of the staff here is truly impressive - they make you feel so welcome and cared for. I had a great time and would love to visit again! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing getaway.

One of the best resorts in Mandarmani. I had visited this resort way back in 2016 because of its accessibility of clean beaches. That time resort was small. We have again visited this resort in March 2025 and found this resort worthy enough for our vacation. The resort is very big now and there are lots of amenities there. Now they have bar, spa, restaurant and breakfast buffet area separate.There are two swimming pool - one facing beach and other in mid of the property. Kids playing area is worth for any family visiting here. Shibu(hotel staff) was assigned as our room service staff for our entire stay. He provided a great service in terms of room service, food and took extra care in food preparation for kids. He is a very nice staff member of this resort. Everyone was courteous in this resort. Food quality was awesome and we liked all the dishes here. Special were- tandoori counter near the swimming pool. We didn't face any issues in this resort. We will surely plan our next visit to this resort in the coming years. Thanks to all the staff of this resort for maintaining top level service and quality. Your quality service will pull more guests for sure. Their concept of assigning a staff member to each room is unique and worthy. It really eases the guest service and experience smoothly. I will highly recommend to all guests to book this resort for your vacation here.

Best time to visit is between November to April. PROS: Location is excellent, unmatched uninterrupted view of the Bay of Bengal from the big balconies and glass windows of Premium & Platinum Rooms on the 1st & 2nd floors. Big, lush green garden with colorful flower plants. Great sitting & viewing gallery with beach lounge chairs. One can spend a whole morning or evening & whole night sitting on the lounge chairs just by looking at the sea and forget everything. Far from highways and the city, so no sound or light pollution. Complete dark skies with full of stars. 20 Secs walk to the beach. The waves touch the hotel boundary in high tides and overflows inside the hotel's garden in moonsons. Which can be an exiting experience for some. There are 2 deep swimming pools for adults, one of which has great lighting, rain head, music system, pool side bar with lounge chairs and shaded sitting arrangement with food service on request. 5 smaller swimming pools for kids and toddlers are available along aide the adult pools. Friendly & helpful service staff. In house restaurant & bar. Smoking allowed in whole property. Complementary breakfast menu is decent. Pet friendly. Sufficient parking area. Buggy service available to travel between the rooms and the reception or parking area back and forth. Food service available in the in-house restaurant, inside room, pool side lounge and at the beach view lounge as well. Can go for a short drive through the nearby 4kms long Marine Drive/Saikat Sarani from Mondarmoni to Shankarpur to experiance the unmatched view of the sea. CONS: 1. Lots of street dogs & cats, which is a safety and hygiene concern, as the cats and the dogs are always licking and feeding of the plates kept outside the rooms and the garden lounge areas. (This is a deal breaker for me). 2. Anyone can walk inside and directly to the hotel room areas from the beach side. Nobody watching or guarding. 3. If booking through online 3rd party website like MMT, Goibibo..etc in discount prices. The hotel might say that they don't have beach view front side premium or platinum rooms on higher floors and will offer garden view rooms. Even though the online sites will show that it's a sea view room. Same happened to us and I had to indulge in mutiple calls and email conversations with MMT & the hotel to finally get the Front Facing Premium Rooms on Higher Floor with Personal Balcony & open Sea View. Which we initially booked online. 4. Food service stops too early at night, around 10pm.

What a beautiful resort. I booked the Premium Suite Cottage, it ws too good and spacious. The view of the sea from my rooms ws just awesome. The best part of the resort is that they allowed my 2 furry friends. The room service,quality n taste of the food is mouthwatering. The staffs of the resorts are very understanding and helpful and they work very hard to fullfill every needs of the guest on time. I loved the calm and quite atmosphere of the resort so much, I extended my stay for a day. It's the best resort I have every stayed at Mandarmani.

amazing experience with this resort at Mandarmoni, We have 10 month child and she got unhealthy during time of chek in, and we got tremendous help from hotel guys from every perspective and also with doctor visit other stuffs are very polite and helpful in the manner and ofcouse time of every demands. they have guided us how to go doctor chamber and what to do all. I am very pleased to stay in this resort, absolutely very much recommended place for staying in this property

Extremely beautiful and visitor-friendly ambiece, coupled with kind and respectful behaviour from each and every staff member. We, as a family of five, had no trouble regarding accomodations or meals. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sea Star!!

It's a good resort. Pretty big and lots of open area. There's a children' playground too. There are two swimming pool. Buffet breakfast spread is also nice, but they could add a few more items and the breakfast place needs an expansion. That room is really small. Their access point to beach is a dampener though. Only thing I didn't like is the loud music being played throughout the day almost till midnight. Otherwise overall it's a nice place for aday or two to spend.
