Horrible behaviour of staff. The first day we went the kitchen staff lied to us about the chef being ill so they wouldn't have to cook for us. There were power outages after power outages and nobody got up to switch on the generator until 1h later- the receptionist didn't even pick up my calls. Worst of all was when we asked for jeera rice and the kitchen staff gave it in half the quantity and said "19-20 hoe ektu" (although they charged us for a whole plate) and when we complained, he brought some plain rice and asked us to mix it with the jeera rice. Apart from this, the room had a torn blanket and the phone was not working- we had to twist the wires and keep it in a certain way to make it work. It took an hour for the AC to get the room cooled. The bathroom sink was clogged and the health faucet was leaking. Moreover, there were loads of spiders and bugs in the bathroom. The mirror too was in a horrible condition. The way to the beach was through a cowshed and it smelled of cow dung and we had to hop, skip and jump to avoid putting our feet in it. Overall, never coming back.

No doubt the rooms were well furnished, have a classy dinning area and a good pool. Still one suggestion to give, that is... please conduct peat control. When I stayed for 1 day, a got to see a big alive cockroach in the room. I'm also mentioning the room no. It is room number 212.
The worst hotel that I had ever booked through Goibibo app. I had made a booking in the month of January 2025 for the month of May 2025 for 5 rooms 3 days. During all these months from February 2025 till April 2025 neither Goibibo nor the hotel ever objected to any pricing issues with my booking and enjoyed my fully paid up booking amount and utilised it for their business. In the beginning of the month of May 2025 suddenly Goibibo sent me an email that the hotel had refused accomodation due to pricing issues. It is quite well known that Digha & it's suburbs are running at all time peak pricing due to Jagannath Dham temple inauguration. Now this hotel resorted to unethical practice of selling out my booked rooms for a higher price then later rejected any allotment to Goibibo stating that renovation was going on in their premises. These bastards need to be taught a lesson and hence I will lodge a case in consumer court against their misdeeds making Goibibo a co-party to it.
We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is near by sea beach and it's a great location to see all the sightseeing. The room was very big, clean and modern. Breakfast was also great. There was different kinds of bread, puri, sabji and boiled eggs, omlette , poach and tea. The people who work there were friendly. Especially Arnab,he work at the front desk, and he was very helpfull. We are definitely gonna go back to this hotel if we stay in Mandarmani again
Worst Experience ever : Well discussed everything over call before planning because was going with Family and small Kids after travelling 5-6 hours by Road. Booking done . But you never know , This world is full of Monsters who can do anything for Money! So the Management and Staff of this Hotel even i would not like to call it as Resort! ( Ss Resort Saikat saranya ) You are Booking Delux and Premium room via phone and they will suggest you to stay at doormetry when you reach .. can you imagine.. ? Even observed they did fraud with a Goibio booking to another customer. After reaching ..Family suffered almost 3 hrs for alternate arrangement. Lier , Un- professional staff - Misleading Information - Lack of amenities Beaware of these kind of Fraudsters!
Very good resort at Mandarmani. Rooms are very clean and organised. Washrooms are also very spacious. Swimming pool and restaurant area is also very neat and clean.
My recent stay at S.S Resort Saykat Saranya in Mandarmani was mostly positive. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the inbuilt dining area was well-decorated and maintained. The room was also very good and clean, with an attached bathroom. The swimming pool was a definite plus. However, there are a couple of areas where the resort could improve. I noticed that the boundary wall on the left side wasn't high enough, which allowed outsiders to see in. Also, being charged extra for water bottles felt a bit unnecessary. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at S.S Resort Saykat Saranya, and I would consider returning. I would recommend the resort to others, with the minor caveats mentioned above.
We went for a holiday trip and took a rest. We had very homely treatment by the Manager Mr Arghya Mukherjee. He had been very caring. The food served was homemade and non spicy. The management of the hotel is very wonderful under whose guidance all the arrangements were perfect.
