Ricardo Beach resort

A wonderful experience! The location is beautiful and well-maintained, with stunning views. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. It's pet-friendly--our Two dogs were welcomed and were comfortable. The swimming pool was fantastic, and room service was efficient. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommended! P.S. It would be wonderful if pets were also allowed in the pool to enhance the experience even more!

It's a beautiful Beachfront property , great location, even in weekend the adjacent beach is not that crowded. Rooms are clean, Though the bathrooms need more maintainence. Staffs are well behaved, Owner Gourab da is humble & helpful, Ranjan is very prompt with service & taking care of other things. In house food is good but scope of improvement is there. & one more thing the swimming pool water was not clean, please look into the matter. The rain shower dance experience was amazing. Looking forward to visit again.

Well the Hotel is Good, quite Good in terms of Cleanliness only for the room . However the Bathroom is Bit different ,old and ugly and after seeing the bathroom you must feel it is nasty only for cottage room. I haven't experienced the other rooms.Food and Hospitality is excellent you just feel to visit again due to their good behaviour of the staffs. A humble request to Owner kindly modify the cottage bathroom make it simple and Clean atleast install exhaust fan. We have a great timeand a memorable trip in this Resort.

I had a bitter experience while checking in to this property. We were allotted room no 2003 but were made to sit at the reception for more than an hour after the check in time before it was ready. Although we had arrived well before the check in time, other groups coming after us were all allotted rooms but we were the last to get permission to check in. Finally when we were shown our room we found that we were given room number 2004 instead of 2003 which was entered in the register in our name . On being questioned we were informed that someone else who had arrived after us had checked into room number 2003. Room numbers 2003 and 2004 have a common balcony, but 2003 is situated in one corner and has a full view of the sea, while 2004 has a side view of the sea. So we had been deprived of a better room inspite of it being allotted in our name. Moreover looking from the balcony of 2004 we saw a large patch of stones, pebbles and rubbish which was obstructing the view of the sea. We had booked a premium sea facing room and were promised to be given a room with proper view of the sea. After paying 5500/- for one night we never had imagined to get such a unpleasant view from our balcony. I have no idea as to why the hotel management behaved in such unsympathetic manner with us forcing us to check into a different room from that allotted to us, making us wait till all other guests had checked in so that we had no option but to stay in a different room from what was originally allotted to us, and also intentionally providing a room with a poorer view.Whether the hotel management had thought that being ladies we would not be able to protest against this discriminatory attitude or there was some other reason is beyond my knowledge. The basic amenities like handwash, shower gel or an intercom which is expected in a premium room was not provided in our room . Even towels were provided only after I went down to the reception and asked for it. Each time I needed something I had to either climb down the stairs to the reception or call through my phone. There are many resorts in the vicinity of this property. I would advise all to check with other resorts before booking with Ricardo beach resort.

I recently happened to stay in this resort. I stayed in Cottage 4014 and 4015 .I visited in April 2025. Rooms are very ordinary. Whatever you see in the photo given in website is deceptive. They have very peculiar policy. They don't serve water in the room for guests on arrival. Every water bottle needs to be paid.Only on complain on the last day they provided 4 bottles of water for our 2 cottages. Location is good right on beach but it's little far from main mandarmoni Manasa mandir and main beach. Every time you have to take an auto and go to the main hub area. Auto fare rs 120 per trip for 6 people. Entrance road to the hotel is not good and the road is bad a stretch of approximately 300 meters. Voltage fluctuations is very common on Saturday and Sunday though the hotel has back up generator. Behavior of staff is good. Food not so good. Breakfast items are limited to puri sabzi and egg toast. Boiled egg only will be provided. No option for omlette or poch, though on request it was served to me and no one others in our family. Bathroom geyser line is broken .Bathroom not that clean .No Television in cottages. Everytime you have to purchase water and drink as their filters are all damaged. Guy who was in charge of swimming pool is not that well behaved. Too many restrictions. Swimming pool was clean. Otherwise peaceful resort. One blogger whose video is floating in you tube has not given correct review . It is a paid review.Should be avoided.

I visited this resort a week ago and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a delightful glimpse of the sea, which was truly the cherry on top. The deck provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the serene view along with the refreshing essence of the sea. The food was of excellent quality, and every meal was a treat. Moreover, the staff's hospitality was commendable, making the stay even more pleasant. Overall, this resort is a fantastic choice for a budget-friendly stay in Mandarmani. Highly recommended!

The location is superb and the hospitality was wonderful. The food served is very good in taste. The resort is quite aesthetically decorated and maintained. The pool is very nice. They need to work on the entrance. Need better seating arrangements on the deck overlooking the sea.
