Hotel Royel sea

The worst hotel ever. The price is humongously high. First they told us the price is 1200 which was not appropriate as the room and place and to adon we came in off season jan 25. We bargained and agreed to pay 1000 for 3 sharing. But we didn't like it much and they said that we could use the outside stash at night anytime. But at night they said that it is not allowed to go outside after 11 so we agreed and then we requested if we could go outside to buy some food one of the staff agreed and let us out but after some time the manager came and told us to pay extra. The attitude of the manager was so bad only the staffs were polite and helpful. We do not recommend this stay as it is so bad. Please choose wisely.

Rooms have no maintenance. Old air conditioners are somewhat put together to get the job done. Ours was dripping. No power backup for AC. Food prices are very high for the quality and quantity. No view of the sea from the rooms. Only pro of the property is it's on the beachfront. Small parking space.

Location wise one of the finest places to have a hotel, but the hotel is not at all maintained. Water leakage from AC, washrooms are not clean enough. Rooms are medium size not big. However, I would like to appreciate their service and commitment despite all these.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. I've spent 2-3 vacations here, recently the price hike has been really unjustified. Compared to the other facilities. Fans lack regulators, TVs arent functional in every room, no remote to control the Air conditioning. On call housekeeping was unavailable too. The receptionist was really rude, ( unless you order services from them) . He gave us the room at Rs X, while payment denied his previous price and claimed Rs X+150 . That's what made me write this review. Or else I have been recommending this hotel so far. But from now on, I looked up and would say look for better alternatives.

1. Stinking room and bathrooms. They knew the room stinks even after room freshner but still decided to give the room when other rooms were empty. 2. Charged a Mazza drink worth 20 as 40, a 2L water bottle worth 35 as 45. A beer worth 170 as 250. On asking, the reception staff was rude. 3. Hotel stay charges is anyways overpriced given the quality. Except being sea front, there is nothing good about this place.

Nice hotel to stay near sea beach, well connectivity from main road, staff behaviour is very good. Rooms are spacious, tidy. I will recommend this property if you are looking for budget property. This place is couple friendly

Accomodation fair is higher side, food quality is ok, staff behaviour is great. Loving there sitting arrangements of lunch & entire hole day beside the beach. I can spend all day by sitting there & enjoying the breeze & waves of Bay of Bengal.

I would keep it simple and short. "Worth staying".. Staffs are too friendly and very generous. Decent rooms with sea view. If I happen to visit again, this is the place, and I would highly recommend this. Value for money.
