Bengal Beach Resort

A good property for staying. Room was good.. bathroom was clean and other facilities are also quite good. But if you're planning to go with kids and family elders then you should think carefully. As here and there people are enjoying with alcohol openly, which is quite common in most of the properties in Mandarmani.

The resort was totally as I expected it to be. I booked the property on Goibibo for 9 people and 2 nights and 3 days with a discount of around 7000 rupees. It was a steal deal. Rooms were cozy. The room service is also on point. The food is a bit on the expensive side and taste is also mid but the overall experience is great. You also get a big swimming pool along with a small pool for children and you also get private beach. Parking is available. All the ACs are properly working and rooms are also pretty neat and clean. So if you guys want, you can book the properly. Thanks.

The rooms were good, could be better, their washrooms need urgent maintenance, they need to increase service staff members, it's quite unprofessional to get delivered liquors or water bottles by security guards. The food was fine, but takes a lot of time to serve. You need to order atleast 2 hours earlier. If your looking to swim in the beach then this hotel is definitely not for you, the beach starts from the resorts back door but the water shifted atleast 1 kilometer, though the water is only up to your knee for several kilometers, so swimming is a no, but they have good swimming pool facility. There is no market around the resort. Overall if you wana enjoy a calm beach vibe then it's a great choice otherwise no.

We had a fantastic stay at Bengal Beach Resort. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ensuring our comfort. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The amenities, including the pool and beach access, were excellent. Conveniently located, it's perfect for relaxation and exploring. Highly recommend this resort for a memorable getaway!

Bengal Beach Resort: "Luxury" = Landfill This "resort" prioritizes extracting maximum money from guests while providing minimal effort, rendering comfort and satisfaction irrelevant. From arrival, basic hospitality was clearly alien. Our "luxury penthouse" experience began with a farcical situation: despite our late check-in, the room was not ready. This delay foreshadowed the horrors to come. We arrived travel-weary, only to languish in a lobby offering little comfort or apology. The staff seemed utterly unconcerned. When we finally accessed our "penthouse," it was a biohazard masquerading as a room. "Filthy" is an understatement; it resembled a poorly maintained storage unit hastily repurposed for habitation. Dust lay thick on every surface, and the air hung heavy with decay. The bed, supposedly a sanctuary, was a museum of neglect. Linens were a patchwork of stains, and the mattress sagged. Turning on the fan threatened a dust storm. The bedding situation worsened. After an hour and three calls, housekeeping replaced soiled linens with more stained sheets. It was a Kafkaesque task, replacing one offense with another. Their excuse? A lack of clean linens - a blatant disregard for basic hygiene. The lack of air conditioning was a highlight in this symphony of incompetence. We arrived to a stiflingly hot, uninhabitable room. The news? Multiple rooms faced the same AC issue due to "excessive heat" in a tropical climate. Their attempt to fix it involved a worker throwing buckets of water on it. This resulted in 15 minutes of cool air before the unit died, leaving us to marinate in our own sweat. Complaints were met with vague assurances and staff indifference. After four sweltering hours at the beach, our penthouse was even hotter. Our patience snapped. We paid a premium for advertised comfort and luxury, only to face budget hostel conditions. The reception and other rooms enjoyed near-arctic temperatures, adding insult to injury. The revelation? They deliberately lowered the voltage, crippling the AC - a cost-cutting measure disregarding guest comfort. Our request to move was met with dismissive amusement. They offered a derisory "discount" as compensation. The AC died in the night, leaving us in a poorly ventilated oven. We were too exhausted to confront the obdurate staff. The next morning, a "complimentary breakfast" was offered - a transparent attempt to placate us, but it was a trap. We were charged for this breakfast, which was then falsely presented as compensation. This "treat" was served in a disgusting, ground-floor room (a downgrade from our original booking) resembling a janitor's closet. We simply didn't have the energy for another battle; we were there to enjoy our trip, not to engage in a constant struggle for basic decency. Our check-out was the final act in this tragicomedy. Our attempts to negotiate compensation were met with indifference. Breakfast, they said, was compensation. We wanted compensation for the ruined day, sleepless night, and general incompetence. After hours of fruitless discussion and Goibibo's intervention, we received a waiver of our food bill (1300) and an insulting 500. The staff feigned ignorance of Goibibo's confirmation email. With our bus to catch, we fled. The overall experience was appalling. The "swimming pool" was a stagnant, fetid pond, and we witnessed people washing their hands in it. The food is only palatable if you're too drunk to taste anything. The reception staff? A motley crew of clowns, scammers, and petty thieves, embodying everything wrong with the hospitality industry. The general staff were relatively pleasant, but this is a small consolation. In conclusion: AVOID THE BENGAL BEACH RESORT AT ALL COSTS. This isn't a resort; it's a breeding ground for disappointment, a monument to mismanagement, and a blatant affront to the very concept of hospitality. Expect to be cheated, disappointed, and to leave with profound regret. You have been warned.

Extremely disappointed with the recent experience. The prices have gone up significantly, but there's absolutely no added value to justify the hike. What's worse is how poorly they treat their old and loyal customers -- no offers, no appreciation, just the same treatment as someone walking in for the first time. Loyalty clearly means nothing here. I have visited this resorts 3 times in the past and they don't bother to give priority to old customers. Manager is very unprofessional and will not respond over phone. Centainly wouldn't reccomend this resorts and definitely not worth the money anymore for middle class people like us.

Will definitely recommend this resort to others!

Extremely Unsafe and Poorly Managed - Not Recommended for Families!||||I had a very disturbing experience at Mandarmani Bengal Beach Resorts and feel compelled to share it to warn other families. I had booked 3 rooms for 2 days for a family trip, but ended up canceling the stay due to serious mismanagement and unruly behavior from other guests, which the resort staff completely ignored.||||There was a group of bachelor boys openly using obscene and offensive language, including deeply disturbing and threatening remarks like "I will rape you." Even though they were speaking among themselves, the public nature of the resort and presence of families should have prompted the management to step in -- but they did nothing.||||The swimming pool was being misused by the same group -- drinking alcohol, smoking, and even throwing cigarette butts into the water, making it highly unhygienic and unsafe. Shockingly, CCTV cameras and resort staff were present, yet no action was taken.||||Due to these safety concerns and the failure of the management to intervene, I had to cancel our stay. And yet, the resort charged a 50% cancellation fee, which is completely unfair given that the cancellation was caused by their negligence.||||This place is NOT safe for families. The management is either careless or complicit. Avoid at all costs if you value safety, peace, and respect.
