Hotel Venkatesh

The rooms are quite small, with barely any space to open luggage except on the bed. Water quality is also an issue, often appearing muddy. The lobby and reception area have a noticeable mosquito problem, which can be uncomfortable. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and responsive to requests. The location is excellent--right in the heart of Siliguri--making it a convenient choice for a short stay, especially if you're in transit to the airport or railway station. Ideal for a quick overnight stop, but not recommended for a longer stay.

The room had a cockroach and there were many mosquitoes too. The staff was nice to listen and respond promptly to the problems. However , they should keep a check before giving the rooms. We were shifted to another room where we did not face any problem. Accessibility is good as it is near the main road.

Great hotel with affordable price. Got early check in and room service is also great. Room quality is also nice. AC was quite chill. Bathroom is clean and specious.

I stayed here in November for 2 nights. The staff are extremely polite and well mannered. Don't expect fancy bathroom accessories or utilities, but its all there. ||They even kept my baggage in storage till i got back from my trip.I was politely upgraded to a bigger room as well. ||Indian and chinese food is good. ||Carry your own toiletries. ||I travelled alone and felt safe the entire time.

Where should I start from? Well, when I first arrived the man at reception said the hotel was full despite me showing him my booking from a well known website. I did end up getting a room but the whole process of check-in was sooo slow and inefficient, that man needs to learn how to deal with costumers (some personal hygiene would help too). I must say, however, he printed my boarding card when I asked him.||||The lift did not work and I got a room in the third floor, which is fine, but another member of the staff who came up with me to lead me to my room did not even offer to help me out with one of my 3 bags. Very much appreciated.||||Now, the room was very dirty. I am attaching only some pictures because I had to rush this morning but you'll get an idea. Dirty walls (in the room and in the bathroom), so much dust all over, you could see it hadn't been clean in a while, and dirty bedshits even with blood. WiFi was working very well in the room.||||I had something to eat as I was starving! The tables in the dinning hall were disgusting, I used a tissue to clean one and showed it to the staff member (the same one who did not help me with my bags) and asked him to please clean it but he did Nothing. There was only one dirty menu for the whole place. Food was decent, I guess.||||Anyway, for what you end up paying this place is sooooo not worth it but of course if you don't find anything else and need to crash for a night before taking your flight it's ok although expensive.

Rooms are not clean enough for the price paid . Foods are spicy and pricey.

This hotel is the best ever to stay single and with family too..The location,The appearance outwardly and inwardly ,The Room's are more then you expect...very peaceful very homely ...and The Behavior of the Manger,s and the staffs...very helpfull Decent with a very unbelievable service..I would suggest this hotel to each and everyone,once you Stay you will again come...Thanks and obliged with Venkatesh hotel my this experience is from my inner heart !!
