It's an amazing resort if you want to stay close and explore Jaldpara national reserve and the resort staff helped me arrange jungle safaris. Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri are also pretty close for local shopping and exploration. The resort is around 3 hours drive from Bagdogra airport and they can arrange pickups if needed, the stay is absolutely amazing with great rooms and prompt service. They also arranged a nice cake and decoration for a birthday celebration. The rooms are amazing with very pleasant balconies overlooking the actual Jungle and beautiful lawn inside, where they host various events, parties, art performances and amazing campfires. There was light rain during my stay and had an amazing time. Also blessed with rhino sighting on one of the safaris the resort arranged for me as they have good connect with the local authorities. Felt really positive during my 5 days stay here and I will definitely be back soon. The owner of the resort is very polite, cordial, approachable and takes care of every small requirements of guests. The staff is humble and very helpful. Lastly the food menu is very detailed, very well designed and the food was the highlight for me. Amazing non veg and fish preparations and equally delicious veg as well that includes Bengali traditional items too. They also have a well equipped bar and their bartender makes nice cocktails.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Jungle Book Resort, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Location: Nestled in a picturesque part of town, the hotel is conveniently located near local attractions and beautiful scenery. It offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect place for both relaxation and exploration. Accommodations: The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, striking a wonderful balance between comfort and elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the room's amenities. Cleanliness was top-notch; everything was spotless upon arrival. Service: The staff at The Jungle Book Resort truly went above and beyond. From the warm welcome at check-in to the concierge service that helped us plan our local excursions, every interaction was friendly and professional. They seemed genuinely interested in making our stay memorable. Amenities: The hotel boasts a fantastic array of amenities. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals that catered to a variety of dietary preferences, and the complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start the day. Overall Experience: I left The Jungle Book Resort feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo retreat, this hotel is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to return in the future

Location- Better than other properties Rooms - well planned but NOT MAINTAINED. Our room had one wall cracks all across. But the water pressure is really good. Food - good taste, but not served on time Buffet - DO NOT TAKE. Very limited and they RAN OUT OF FOOD BOTH THE TIMES DURING DINNER AND BREAKFAST. Service - Average. Staff - They try to push-sell. Even after my explaining to them that I am on a diet, they made me take the MAP which was a WASTE of not just money but my time. Check-out- They do a room search which is absolutely unprofessional for a hotel that claims to be of decent standard. OVERALL, AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Almost a perfect stay! Wish there were elevators in the property. Service was top notch , so were the rooms. Most of the food items were great again! Barring a few misses. Overall a great place for anybody looking to stay in and around Jaldapara.

"I had requested a room for 2 days but was informed only one day was available. I had already informed the staff that I would take another room for the second day. The checkout time was 11 AM, and despite the room tariff being prepaid, the front desk started calling repeatedly after 12 PM, asking me to check out and clear the food bill. To make matters worse, the TV remote didn't work, and even after requesting a replacement, it was never addressed. The overall experience was disappointing and poorly handled."

Worst experience, staff and owners are very rigid in behaviour. They charged us 600 bugs for a tea cup broken that is merely 100 bugs approx. On higher side. We do request them to consider for the prices but they Straight forwardly denied.they r not at all polite. Even the food preparation is not upto the mark.

I thought it was definitely going to be some run-of-the-mill cottage type resort, but oh my god, color me surprised, because the place I stayed at for two days, was up there with one of the best experiences of my life in a hotel room. It was astonishing, because all the rooms on the ground floor (one of them I occupied) were backed by a balcony which opened our directly to the forest area. Literally. All that separated us and the forest was a strong, iron clad barricade. Anyway, onto services - * Great food, breakfast isn't complimentary and if you want it to be, you have to book it through their website..? i think? that was a weird thing. * Incredible room service, quick and efficient * TV service was great, though the WiFi wasn't really great since the signal was very weak when you were in the room itself, and strong near the door of the room * Comfy beds, gave us an extra mattress and even a bedframe for one person to sleep on. * Fridge is also provided, but it has to be turned on for a night before use because it's kept turned off for obvious monetary reasons. * Very, very pleasant atmosphere and ambience overall, I really wish I could've stayed longer, haha. Overall, a strong 4.9/5.
