The behaviour of the *Manager* and some ofother employees are very rude. They received us with a very reluctant and unwelcoming gesture. Have just come. Don't know what they'll show afterwards. The Manager is horrible. *I will not recommend it to any body** P.S A young stuff namely Nayan is very modest and hard working. Only pluspoint beside the location.

I visited this place along with my family & friends and enjoyed a great hospitality. We got the opportunity to spend a wonderful time in the midst of nature. The place is like a hidden treasure. Once you start strolling around you will discover the crude nature especially during monsoon. All the staffs are very polite. They served delicious food. One can enjoy the serenity of tea garden very closely from the beautiful lawn. We were overwhelmed by the tranquility of the place.
17 members of our family friend circle stayed for two nights (February 19-20, 2024) at their Jaldapara resort. To be honest, we couldn't find a single reason to recommend it to others except for the food quality. Poor rooms: No mirror in washrooms, no geysers either!!! Can you imagine to take bath with cold water when temperature is hovering between 11-15 degree celsius.. later on we came to know that they have geysers at adjacent block rooms which were not informed us earlier while booking. So in our cases, we have take the washroom bucket in their hallroom and they will give you provide you hot water and you need to drag it to your washroom, can you imagine such non-sense! Poor Management: They have a huge ground field in front of their hotel which is adjacent to tea estates but they do not keep any outdoor playing items or children playing items either. Also they arranged bonfire for us as requested, but next day morning till 10 AM stray dogs starts licking those bonfire iron rods due to its non-veg flavour...there was no one else to clean it up! Remote Location and Rough Roads: The resort is situated far from the main road (approximately 3-4 KM), with poorly maintained roads leading to it. This becomes problematic, especially when alternative food options are not there. Moreover, during emergencies such as medical issues at night, lack of nearby transportation compounds the situation, particularly if guests haven't arrived with their own vehicles. Only thing we liked their food quality, though its on higher range but this is the only thing we liked about this resort! Honestly, you do not need to stay for 2 days at such an odd location. There are plenty of resorts near around your jungle safari location. ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Our stay in the resort was from 18 to 20 December 2022. Ours was a group of 13 Sr. citizens. The resort is located amidst lush green surroundings full of fresh air and oxygen. The food served in the resort was tasty and digestible. The staff of the resort are cordial keep their inn mates in a homely atmosphere. No chance of any feeling out of home. The owners should however keep an eye on certain nitty gritty details of the room facility.
We stayed in this resort near Jaldapara National Park from 20-22 Dec,2016 in 2 Standard Rooms. Rooms were sufficiently large with clean attached western toilets but no geyser. But to compensate that, the staff provided us with hot water buckets at no extra charge. Rooms were very clean during our check in. They have huge glass windows with beautiful views of the adjoining tea gardens & forest. We were told that the Deluxe Rooms were fitted with geysers and they are going to fit them in the Standard Rooms as well... Another huge plus for this resort is their food. We were served with traditional Bengali style food prepared with vegetables grown in their own organic garden. It was of very good standard and the taste was simply mouthwatering. I don't remember having so much of Sabzi anywhere else outside home. Price of food is a little bit costlier but it really is worth it. Service of the hotel boys were prompt & good. Now, the resort is located far from the hustle bustle of Madarihat town. So it's a necessity to have a car at disposal. Overall a very nice experience... Fully recommended. A good property to stay in Jaldapara National Park. Surrounded with Lush Green Forest(Khoerbari Forest) and Tea Garden, the property is itself a niche as far as the location is concerned. And top of all the food is excellent. Feels like pretty much home made. The staffs are well behaved and decent. Service is excellent. Would highly recommend for jungle lovers. Cheers.
