Sundarban Resort

Excellent experience, if you a true nature lover then you should stay in this Resort. Cost of room and food is absolutely budget friendly. Staff behavior is really good and appreciable. You can stay with family as well as with friends and colleagues. Very near to Jharkhali jetty ghat, from where you can easily book a boat for Sunderban forest tour.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on 16 Dec, 2016. The resort is very basic, it's rather a kind of homestay with 5 rooms. It is situated in a remote village where there is no electicity. They have generators which was running night long. ||They provide excellent facility for a small hotel / home stay. ||||The rooms were big, and clean. The toilets were clean as well. Justifies INR1000/night.||The food provided were very basic Bengali food, but the quality was excellent. The caretaker was very courteous and helpful. He helped us to arrange for next day boat ride through the rivers as well. ||The resort also has a very big lawn. ||||It is a nice place for a group outing in the winters. ||||Should be avoided in summer / monsoon. To reach hotel you have to go almost 500 mts through country roads, and would be inaccessible in rains. ||No electricity could be a problem in summers.

We visited on 31st january for 2 days and had a group of 17 family members.Had a horrible experience.The owner Mr.Maity is extremely rude/money minded. They tell you something and offer something else.Even local residents told that fish is easily available, however Mr.Maity could not find fish in the market. Full day boat ride was also not planned properly and we missed many spots. Only the rooms are clean so 1 mark can be given. But think twice before visiting this resort specially due to the behaviour of the owner.

Nice place to stay. Very good service. Beautiful lawn. Attractive rooms. Delicious Bengali food. Thanks to "Pashupati Da and Supriya Di"(their staff) for warm welcome and sevice.

Wonderful experience... Good pace for a calm and soothing weekend...one should visit with a big family otherwise evenings could be boring.. The caretaker will take good care and the food is good....one can surely enjoy the stay here

Decent place to stay and food is also good. But the road towards Sundar Resort is not well built yet.

Nice place to stay for a short time holiday. It's not furnished by modern equipment but you can get the touch of nature from here.
