Recently we visited Royal Sundarban Wild resort with my family and friends. We stayed there for 2 nights and had very nice experiences with good stay and good food. Also they arranged an evening sunset boating for us which was an amazing experience ( though could not see any Tigers !!!! )- During winter you can avail whole day boating arrangement which will take you to various parts of Sundarban ( due to summer we skipped it and preferred evening boat only ). The best part of this resort is that you can directly drive to this place with your own car which is not available for many other places/resorts of Sundarban. However the last 1-2 km road is not good and hope local authorities will repair it soon as the road leads to main Ferry ghat of Jharkhali and too many vehicles go daily. The resort is beautifully managed with a garden, Flowers, and small small cottages which will give you a feeling of " Shantiniketan in Sundarban". Food quality and quantity is good. Liked the evening snacks very much ( Paasta,Phuchka and Chicken pakora) and we repeated it both the days on our children's demand. Non -Veg food lovers can try their country's chicken curry as they cooked it very tasty for us. The Cook ( I think his name is Sujit ) came to us during lunch and dinner to take the real feedback of foods and also explained the 2 good recipes to our families when they requested which I liked. The Manager Mr. Manas served at his best and the same is applicable for service boys sudeb and subrata who tried to do everything to make our stay comfortable. Instagram /FB lovers will love to click photos in this resort in different places. A tiger rescue centre and big park is nearby the resort where children can spend some time and may see some animals. I would love to go during winter once as I liked the nature of this area beautiful..

!!Nice and Value for Money Resort to Stay!! Very nice resort to stay at this price point. The food and the service is absolutely amazing. Toilets need to be a bit more cleaner, rooms size a bit on a smaller size, however for 2 adults and 1 kid it is sufficient for 2 nights stay. Overall, highly recommendable resort to stay, the best part is you can drive till the resort. Definately IN for a next visit.
**Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel!** We stayed at this hotel with our family for two days, and it was an absolute nightmare. The service was pathetic - they clearly can't handle more than six guests at a time. The swimming pool was extremely dirty and cloudy, and we seriously doubt if they even bother to clean it! The food was below average but ridiculously overpriced! To make things worse, four of us ended up with food poisoning (diarrhea) after eating there. It was a horrible experience, and we regret dining at their restaurant. On top of everything, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their attitude made our stay even more unpleasant. Overall, this hotel is a disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone--stay away!
I recently visited Royal Sundarban Resort and had a mixed experience. Food and Dining: The food was definitely a highlight. The dishes were flavorful and authentic, capturing the local essence perfectly. The dining area was well-maintained, and the service was prompt and courteous. Ambience and Service: The ambience of the resort is quite appealing, with a serene environment that beautifully complements the natural surroundings of the Sundarbans. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring guests felt welcomed and comfortable. Rooms and Amenities: Unfortunately, the rooms did not meet the expected standards. They felt a bit outdated, and the cleanliness could be improved. The bathrooms were particularly disappointing, lacking proper maintenance and modern fittings. Infrastructure and Connectivity: The roads leading to the resort were quite challenging, which made the journey less pleasant. Additionally, frequent load shedding was an inconvenience, as there seemed to be no effective backup power system in place. Overall Experience: While the food, ambience, and service were commendable, the issues with the rooms, bathrooms, and infrastructure need significant improvement. If these aspects are addressed, Royal Sundarban Resort has the potential to offer a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
It's realy a very good option in Jharkhali. I don't find any other good ambience resort in Jharkhali. Room rate is reasonable. Food is tasty. Most important part people of this resort are very polite. Swimming pool, inside garden are beautiful.
*Worst Experience Ever | Avoid this Hotel* Recently I visited this resort for our leisure time. The overall experience was too pathetic to explain. Rooms: Mostly ACs are not working. Tremendous Low voltage issue. Even service staffs are cutting off the ac line without any intimation. Service: Worst. The entire resort is being operated by 4 Staffs only. Every requests are taking too much time. All those 4 Staffs are pretending themselves as All Rounder. But, ultimately giving worst services. Food: Quality is not upto the mark. Basically, the quality of Water they are providing. 6-7 people from our group get infected with the food poisoning due to the poor quality of water. Ordering food is taking at least 1:30 Hours to serve due to they don't have manpower. Swimming Pool: it is not at all a Swimming Pool. It's a village Pond with such a dirty Water. Staff: Staffs are with high attitude problem. Rude & very unprofessional.
Worse experience. The service was pathetic. No Room service available. You will not get dinner before 11.30 if you have a 10-12 person in your group. The water of the pool was so dirty that it better consider as pond. Food quality is so bad that we need to arrange food outside which is also very tough because of the location. Our group 5 people has suffered with food poisoning. The manager/owner of the property always try to ignore the guest problem. Always play blame game. They have charged us 8500 rupees as damaraged charge for paint in towel and bed sheet. Without any logic they told us that we break chair (which we don't)
Amazing hospitality provided to us by Royal Sundarban wild resort. We stayed for 2 nights and our experience was amazing. The food was homely and delicious and the staff were so helpful and polite. We went on the boat safari and were provided with fresh hot meals on the boat also! The rooms and the resort is well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely thanks to the staff.
