Silver Ridge, An Eco Tourism Resort

It is a eco-tourism resort in lataguri near lataguri neora more.This property has the biggest area among the other resorts in lataguri.The owner and all the other stuffs are very polite and customer friendly to the guests. But the property is not well-maintained.The lights,fans and water tap not well-maintained.The fans are noisy.The price of the foods also much-costly. The atmosphere of the resort is quiet and mesmerizing.Some swans were playing in the resort area.The authority of this property must look upon about the maintanance of this property.

As the Owner Manager (Kaustav) had rightly said, guests love the natural beauty of the resort. We, a group of 4 Senior Citizen Couples did that too. But, thats where the "feel goid" factor ended (apart from the excellent staff (Kartik and Deep) and very helpful Kaustav himself, there was really nothing even close to satisfactory)!|Rooms for certain, hadn't seen any maintenance in months if not in years. Bathrooms were the sadest! Moulds everywhere, geyser either not working (not connected to shower) or worse - electrically shorted, broken fittings, no shelf for toiletries, insects crawling through wash basin drains etc etc. All rooms had termites, very hard mattress, no TV, no wifi.||Food was reasonably priced and good.||PS: Confirm if renovated/repaired before booking.

The property is ill maintained, no manager, no owner at sight, 3 young boys in their 20s manage everything. The cookies unfit to cook Bengali foods, too much of Kanda Losun used in everything. The water is highly reddish having iron content, nothing in stock, everything bought on order. Boys are only working hard without any supervision. Food menu is full availability is only 30 to 40%. Nothing available without prior order. Delux rooms are large long tennis grounds, has bay window but can't be used without compromising privacy, AC sometimes work, sometimes not, bathroom bulb is to be put on with a stick! Many amazing things happened. Good fresh air all around capable of rejuvenation of mind & body.

Did not like the experience of my stay here. The service, the rooms...none were upto the mark, maybe because it was off season? No idea. We had booked the cottage but there the geyser was not working, the fan was not working. The furniture was dusty, even after alerting the manager about the dust-filled furniture, it was not taken care of, the geyser and fan could not be fixed so we were shifted to a cottage beside the one which we had booked. The staff behavior was very casual, if we asked something, they would provide it after quite an amount of time, the wait period was long but the food was good, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Satisfied with the food quality as well as quantity. The owner was not present in the property. We had booked in the off-season, in August, so that we could avoid the jungle safari tourist rush. I think this negligent behaviour and the condition of the rooms are due to it being off-season. Hope they serve tourists well in the peak season time. The picturesque location and the food acted as consolation in our unsatisfactory visit.

This is a must visit property.. situated amidst forest and within a spice plantation. This property is serene and very peaceful. Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs at the resort, from the amenities available to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. Kudos to Kaustav Da and Bapon Da who are always ready to help. With their amazing team they have made the place more beautiful. And also a great thanks to chef (Hari da) for preparing very tasty dishes. Never the less they have never disappointed us about anything. I do recommend everyone to experience the beauty of Silver Ridge Eco Tourism Resort. I surely hope to revisit sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.

Very bad rooms specially the washrooms. They don't have any proper system. There is water logging issue in washroom. Please try to avoid this resort. The owner don't have any responsibility. Absolutely worthless. But I must admit their cook is really good you will get homelike food there. I think there cook don't deserve to stay at this disgusting resort. The location is good the people giving service is also good but the owner don't have any interest to maintain the resort properly

Giving you genuine review of the resort as myself and my entire family had been there two weeks back. We booked two 4-bedded rooms and one 2-bedded rooms. Resort is old and is not maintained properly. Some rooms are okay but some rooms are total mess. Rooms were smelly and wet. Bedsheets were wetty. Water supply was so horrific as we had to call the manager three times for water issues. Electricity issues are there. One fan stopped working. No charging panels near bed. Foods were extremely pricey and weren't worth the money at all. We dined outside later. As a result, we cancelled the booking after staying one night and moved to another resort.

We had booked a four bedded room and one double bedded room on 18th dec 2019 but later we had to reschedule the plan to january as our train got cancelled due to NRC strike in West Bengal.||Initially while booking and rescheduling they had coperated a lot with us. Food was undoubtedly good.Later we faced the following problems:||1. The room picture for four bedded room which was sent didnt match with the room provided,the room given was untidy and shabby. We requested to provide the room for which the pic was sent,they said it was double bedded but we took the room and they gave us cot which again was charged extra.||2. After we had rescheduled, the double bedded room which was 1200 per day they provided a room for 1800 saying 1200 room is not available.||3. Later after lot of request they provided 2 good rooms but charges got higher and higher.||4.No other facilities was provided,cost of everything was high inspite only 2-3 rooms of that hotel was good rest all rooms are just horrible.||5. We wasted just 1 hour just to check all rooms they had as none of the room pic matched,later had to pay extra to take rooms for which they had sent pic.( Due to the wastage of time we got late for jungle safari).||6. We faced problem in food aswell,once we ordered 4 egg meal and 2 veg meal and last moment we wanted to make it 6 egg meal as the price for veg meal and egg meal was same. Manager said they dont dont have extra egg. I think being a resort this reply wasn't expected.(But yes food quality and taste was good). After sudden request to the cook he managed i dont know how||7. We asked them to arrange for cars and the car rent was unexpectedly higher,later we booked car for outside at lesser price.||8. Major problem noone in this resort ever smiled while giving a service||||Writting a long review as we were really very unsatisfied with this so called resort.. Horrible experience wont recommend anyone.
