Dikshunyopur Resort

The resort is spacious, with deep forest feel but no maintenance & attention by the owners. Absolutely remote controlled from Calcutta with not even manager. 3 young boys manage customer. The cook is unfit to cook authentic ethnic Bengali dishes. No common area for sitting, rooms are extra large within utility. No permanent electrician at the resort, only available on call. No drinks available. Overall experience is bad as way to get to men's heart through stomach criteria miserably gets flawed.

Do not get fooled by the pictures you see. The place is completely unprofessionally run and the rooms are dirty and the bathrooms stink. The dining room feels like it has not been cleaned for a long while and windows are never opened. Unfortunately, the food that the equally unprofessional cook puts on the table does not make up for the poor ambience. We hear that the owner is planning to building a new resort. BEWARE.

Hotel situated at Lataguri. Location wise its very good and hotel ambiance also very good. Post covid this year only they have started this resort. Resort rooms are still under maintenance and it will take some time to complete it. Behaviour of the owner and staff just awesome. Food quality and test was great. For us except room conditions everything was super. I believe once they will complete modifications, this will be one of the best hotel with good ambiance.

Pathetic experience. We were charged 2700 for the room where we got 2 medimix soaps(3rs each) in the name of toiletries. Bathroom was unusable. We tried the hardest of our limits to use the bathroom. The mattress was in a bad condition. Room did nit have any tea pot or anything else provided. Bathroom tap has red water flow which u cant even use. They said let the tap be open for 10 mins then u can get the fresh water. The owner will pick up your call untill you reach there and once you are inside the boundary, neither u will see him nor you will be able to reach him over ph. The only star we gave for the tasty food prepared by the cook and the good behaviour of the reception boy Sudarshan. You go for any other resort or homestay in this region but this one is a big NO.

Location is excellent forest and tea garden around. My son also very happy to staying but rooms (Super Deluxe) not upto the mark very hard bed . And food quality bad but rate is very very high. Staff behavior also good. Thank you

Pros: The resort is located a bit on the inside, beside the Neora river bride. The location is nice and okay. It is a quite and calm We booked 2 deluxe rooms which was quite good and the food quality was awesome. The washrooms also had geysers installed and the staffs were also good. Cons: We were not satisfied with the cab charges that was arranged by the manager of the resort. The most disappointing fact was that for the Medla watch tower visit we were charged double as we booked via resort. The Medla watch tower 4th shift charges are 240 (120 entry + 60 tribal dance + 60 bullock cart ride ) but we were charged 500 each. So, its best to book the watch tower visit alone by going half an hour early.

I will rate 0... 1.Service is 3rd class not offering single glass of water to guest. 2.They are not cleaning rooms even after knocking. 3.Not serving the food in dinning room. They have served us on room floor. 4.We have asked for lunch they have denied service is 3rd class. We have to arrange food self from outside. 5.We have done Birthday celebration at night and room got dirty they have not cleaned the room next day till our check out.. 6.We have asked them for Barbie Que it was fully worst and burned. 7.At Night they have surved dinner again in room floor. 8. In the name of complementry they have Charged 500 for 15 cup of tea. So we have ignore breakfast who knows how much they will charge in the name of complimentry. 9. Resort room quality is too bad. 10.Its not good for family. 11. Location is also not good. 12. Fooding is too costly

Very good Resort. Its recent name is "RESORT RIVER SIDE" It is very good for elder and families. Recommended for patients to take rest for health improvements. Very nice hospitality and room service.
