Kurseong Tourist Lodge

We visited the restaurant for lunch and were captivated by the stunning view. Our order included chicken steamed momo, fish fingers, chicken fried rice, mixed noodles, garlic chicken, and chili chicken, along with a few refreshing drinks. The food was flavorful and satisfying--definitely a meal worth enjoying.

It is just beside the Hill Cart Road to the way of Darjeeling. Limited cars may be parked here. Rooms are awesome. Staff services are so good and they are well behaved and courteous. The ambience of the restaurant is good and may take the taste of the scenic beauty of the Mt Kanchanjunga, taking tea in the restaurant. Food quality is awesome, especially fish finger, steamed chicken momo and mixed noodles.

The rooms have recently been renovated along with some exterior work of the hotel but the food served at the hotel which we had for dinner was bad. A few years back the food they served was great,as i studied in kurseong at a boarding school but now too my dissatisfaction the quality of food has tremendously gone down. Complementary breakfast was good.

This is a great stop-over on the way to/from Darjeeling for breakfast , brunch , and lunch. The food is excellent. Momos are the best in the Kurseong Area. We were a group of friends who booked the rooms without a balcony. The view is awesome. One can stroll around the hotel for some scenic views. Staff is professional, check in was prompt. Ample parking space is available. Outsiders have access to the restaurant area through a separate entrance. We visited during monsoon , so the overall weather & views were absolutely spectacular. This is a budget hotel, and the food menu is moderately priced. The restaurant billing counter also has a souvenir shop selling various local tea produce. The rooms with balcony are relatively newly built and I would prefer to book them for my next stay. The rooms without balcony are pretty old, as evident from molds in some rooms and lack of refurbishment.

A nice budget hotel for Bengali middle class family tourists with modern facilities. Loved the bathroom here with modern facilities. Nice hotel run by WBTDCL. The staffs' behaviour and service are good. Really satisfied. Keep up the good work. Kudos to West Bengal Tourism, Govt. of WB.

I have stayed in Kurseong Tourist Lodge from 18-19th of March, 2025. While the food was really good, the room composition was a real mess. I stayed in room 102 and whoever planned this room really needs to ponder upon his architectural schooling days. All the amenities were there but how am I supposed to use the mirror if a sofa is placed just infront of it in a direction that is opposite to the view of mountains from the window. So, now I am sitting on the sofa, facing the wardrobe while my back faces the beautiful view and if I turn right, I see my face in the mirror. I don't think that helps especially when I paid extra for a balcony room. Also, while the washroom has everything one will need, the drain outside ensures that someone will not be able to explore all the amenities before they are forced out of there. Maybe other rooms are not like this, but since I stayed in this room, I can only speak about this room. Probably, this will eventually fall on deaf ears, but as a responsible traveller, I needed to vent out this so that other travellers can be warned beforehand. Stay at Kurseong Tourism Property was nice. Views from the rooms were amazing. The property is undergoing renovation so expect the damp issues will go out soon. Staff is very hospitable and friendly. Food is amazing and the way they provide it in room is commendable. Breakfast is wholesome and tasty. In all, had a great stay. Look forward to stay again. Loved how the managers kept checking on us to see if we reached out destination. That just adds to the touch.

We booked the room with personal balcony and swing. And trust me, the view of the balcony was something purely ethereal. Besides, the rooms are spacious and clean along with the bathroom. The food they served was also very good, we ordered food for two but the quantity was plenty that it can easily feed 3 people. Coming to the staffs, they are very hospitalable, nice and kind. Overall, our stay at Kurseong river view homestay was amazing and satisfying.
