LaDas Treetops

We stayed here with two small kids. Our staying was very nice. They provided special khichri for our kids. Quality of foods was good. Room service was also good. They changed our room immediately, when we noticed the geyser was not working. The property is well maintained, looking like a flower garden. Rooms are clean. Excellent view of the mountains and valleys. Highly recommended.

Just check in there and sit idle at open cafeteria to enjoy the scenic beauty of Giddapahar and valley. Feel the whispers of wind chimes and bird chirping with good quality Darjeeling tea. Inhale fresh oxygen and make lungs free from pollution. Try for local cusines specially the Nepali platter. An absolutely pet friendly accommodation in true sense. A very cordial approach by each n everyone. Really deserve good prices for awesome vacation ambience .

To begin with the staff of the resort were very cooperative.Even after changing booking dates several times they haven't gave us any trouble rather were very welcoming.They guided us properly to reach the resort.On arriving we received a welcome drink which was Hibiscus tea.Though we are not fond of tea but that tasted amazing. We were very excited to check out our room as we were hyping about it since long time.on entering the room our expectations were fulfilled.Everything was top notched.Cleanliness decor everything is praise worthy.The view from the balcony is something to be cherished.Waking up in the morning and getting to see Emu birds feeding isn't what we see regularly.So that was a surreal experience. Every spot of the resort provides instagram able vibe.If one loves to click pictures definitely this is a resort where one can take many. Speaking about the food it has their own flavour which is quiet good and the chef and his coordinates are very welcoming and is always there to provide you with whatever is required.The way they communicate and behave will definitely make you feel special.We are very happy with the service they have provided us. This resort is definitely a must visit place for people who want to relax in their holiday with top-notch service.

Lovely place with spacious, comfortable rooms. The setting is lovely.The proprietor is a charming, efficient woman and makes sure her guests are comfortable. The staff are courteous, friendly and work hard to make your stay pleasant.

Our stay at La Das Treetops resort was fantastic. The rooms, view and food everything was excellent. Mr. Tygue is a really great fellow. He served us and took care of all our needs and requirements at the resort.

Good points first. Location is good, isolated full of greenery all around. View is good on a clear day. Property looks good. Bad points. Big issue regarding the service, staff are well behaved but they are quite incompetent and difficult to communicate. Tariff is too high as per value of money. Wash room is too small. Breakfast menu is very limited. After the order it took more than an hour to serve the food every time.

Stayed here for 2 days. 1st day was fine, 2nd day was exciting(all puns intended)|Good things: Location is simply put excellent, rooms you get are good a little over priced it might seem but it's good, cleanliness - it's a big thing for me and they scored very high.(A tip - Do not book online, you might get a discount but rooms you will get is not good)|Bad things: the rest of it. Let me start one after the other.|Bonfire: let's just say the fire was there till kerosene effect was there. It was not good. The good outcome was that it helped us with the barbeque which was nice.|Restaurant service : It was pathetic to put it mildly. Non-existent would probably be right word. We had to fetch our own plates and water to our tables.|Restaurant food: To make it short, if ever a list of worst food restaurants were made in Kurseong they will win the contest hands down . The chef has no idea of what salt is. This I am saying as a person who in his growing years had spent 14-15 years in hostels or message.|They next day was fun. We came to know that one of the tourist had slapped a staff - a very very wrong thing to do, and the owner didn't respond to staff'splease to diffuse the situation and hence there would be NO LUNCH OR DINNER served the next day. I mean are the hotel management kidding ? During Puja you have a whole bunch of people with kids in middle of wilderness and you can't even provide basic necessities as food.|The intersting part is in the morning before leaving for site-seeting the owner says, we will provide you with dinner but the staff at the reception said don't count on it. We had kids with us and we believed the staff. We called up the owner in evening to confirm but it was not picked up. So, we brought own dinner, they heated it and it was thousand times much palatable and much less of a costs.|The tourist who believed the owner were served with Maggi!!|On the final day morning even for the complimentary breakfast, the items were not there or cold inspite of repeated requests there were no improvements. The fruits too not all the members of the group were able to get. It's a complete mess!!|Note : Owner might respond that it was one off incident and she had to bring in new staff during the Puja. I have just one thing to say - No one is doing charity here, it's your property and it's your responsibility to make sure everything runs more so during holidays season which you have failed miserably. I too had read all the excellent reviews but this is what I had seen.

The property is a luxury one where u will feel like u r staying at home with luxury amenities, specially for family, couple and also the entire staff, owner is so humble that if you stay for one day you will feel like not going home. Please go and atleast stay for a day or two to have some relaxation life out of your busy schedule. Regards, Parshib
