Zen La Homestay

Zen La Homestay was a peaceful escape nestled amidst the hills of Kurseong. We loved how well-maintained the property was -- from clean, cosy rooms to a charming garden full of vibrant flowers. The mornings were especially beautiful, with clouds floating right outside the balcony. The location is ideal -- just far enough from the town to enjoy quietude, yet close enough for easy access. We walked to a nearby monastery and pine forest, which felt like hidden gems. What impressed us most was how smoothly everything was taken care of. The hosts not only ensured we were well-fed with authentic local meals, but they also helped us plan our itinerary and arranged a trustworthy driver for all our travel needs. And of course, Hero, their adorable dog, made the stay extra special -- always around for a cuddle or two. A serene, homely experience we'll always remember.

It's amazing! Cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful views. The hosts are super friendly, and the food is delicious. Dry Chicken was one of the tastiest dishes they made for us. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Would definitely stay again!

Staying at Zen La Homestay was one of the best decisions we made on our first trip to North Bengal. We spent 3 wonderful days here, and every moment felt special. The room had a private balcony with an unparalleled view of the beautiful Kurseong Hills and town -- waking up to that sight was pure bliss. The homestay is surrounded by flower plants, bringing us closer to nature in the most peaceful way. But what truly made it feel like a home away from home were our lovely hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Lama. They made us feel so comfortable and went out of their way to fulfil our wish of trying authentic local dishes -- every meal was delicious and heartwarming. They also arranged safe and reliable transport for our pick-up, sightseeing, and even our next destination, which made our travel stress-free. The warmth didn't just end with the hosts -- the entire local community was welcoming, helpful, and kind. And how can we forget Hero, their adorable pet dog, who added so much joy to our stay. His playful presence made our time at Zen La even more memorable. There's a peaceful monastery and a serene pine forest within walking distance -- perfect for quiet morning walks and reflection. We can't wait to return to Zen La Homestay -- and next time, we're definitely staying longer! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kurseong.

We had a wonderful experience at Zen La Homestay in Kurseong. The food, hospitality, cleanliness and stunning surroundings exceeded our expectations. Though the weather was foggy and visibility was low, still the view from the window was amazing, and the warm welcome from the owners made us feel right at home. In fact, it felt like visiting close family members. The owners were particularly accommodating, preparing delicious vegetarian meals for my father, who even avoids onions and garlic. The quality of the food was also exceptional. To make the stay comfortable, Zen La Homestay offers amenities, including free Wi-Fi and geyser. If you're looking for a cozy retreat in Kurseong, I highly recommend Zen La Homestay. It's perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay. Like me, if you're looking to escape the chaos of work life and unwind in a serene hill station, Zen La Homestay in Kurseong is the perfect place.

Best homestay for everyone. Hosts are so nice . Homestay's owner and his full family are so kind & loveable. Nice place with the best view . If you want to give rest your mind & body please go there and spend 2-3 days .

The best homestay definitely..... couldn't move back from the balcony, the view The hosts are so well behaved and jolly. Not to forget the food . And ofcourse my favorite part of Zen La- Hero
