I had the pleasure of staying at K-Den Home Stay in Kurseong for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The rooms were cozy, with a heater provided to keep us warm during the chilly January weather, though the sun was shining brightly. Asma's cooking was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch--nothing was lacking. The property is ideally located near the Dowhill Pine Forest, perfect for scenic walks and trails. The locals are incredibly friendly, adding to the charm of the stay. I came with my partner, my sister, and her fiance, and we all had a fantastic time. We'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommended!

Weeky Yolma personally took care to ensure we were taken care of properly. His mother, Aunty Ji, is an amazing person - friendly, approachable and deeply passionate about sharing the local culture. One of the highlights of our stay was a local Nepali culinary session she hosted. Watching her prepare one of the most popular traditional dish (Sel Roti) with such care and skill, while explaining the stories and traditions behind them, was an absolute treat. Special mention must go to Asma, a true "busy bee" who seemed to be everywhere at once--ensuring our comfort, whipping up delicious meals, and even helping us plan our day's itinerary. Her energy and kindness made us feel right at home. The rooms at K Den are simple yet incredibly comfortable, with large windows offering stunning views of the misty hills. The ambiance of the homestay is charming, with a perfect blend of rustic and homely touches. Every corner of the place seems to have a personal story, and it truly felt like we were staying with family. The food deserves a special mention--it was not just a meal but an experience. From the authentic Nepali dishes prepared during the culinary session to the everyday meals, everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The use of local ingredients added an earthy, wholesome touch. When we weren't indulging in the culinary delights, we spent time exploring the nearby tea gardens and scenic trails. But honestly, some of our best moments were spent simply relaxing at the homestay, sipping tea, and soaking in the tranquility of Kurseong. Weeky's brother Chewang Yolmo took us on a very personal guided trip to the nearby Dow Hill and other hikes. Our stay at K Den Homestay was more than just a trip--it was a heartfelt experience. The combination of the serene location, the delightful culinary journey, and the care and attention from the hosts made it truly unforgettable. Awesome place.... Really cool people. There is this girl who attended us Asma, she was superb and really really nice. There are two super cute doggo Mongzee and Bruno who were the best best best. The cottage is super cool and comfortable. Love it there...will visit soon again

We recently stayed at a charming pet-friendly homestay near Dowhill and Chimney, where both cottages are beautifully designed.
