Yellowbrick - Calcutta's freshest BnB

Our stay at 5/4 was delightfully peaceful amidst our city adventures in Kolkata. Munna is a wonderful chef and prepared eggs, toast and fruits for us each morning - delicious! He also made our stay very comfortable, ensuring we had everything we needed.|The rooms were clean, comfortable, and characterful. They also have a washing machine so you can do your laundry, if needed.|The BnB is well located to some super tasty restaurants, and to Quest Mall if you want to catch a movie. Park St is about a 30minute walk away

This is an excellent place to stay. The idea of not wearing the footwear inside the premises is highly appreciable. I felt at home. The room was clean and neat. The best part was they used a blanket over the properly prepared bed, which I find noteworthy reflecting their cleanliness. The body wash and the shampoo they provided were good. I wish they mentioned the ingredients and the proportion used in the future. They have 5 rooms, and each is different from the other. The staff were polite. WiFi speed is good. TV has popular channels subscribed. The reception area has many books, and the whole place is calm. However, there are a few downsides to address: They don't offer food on an instant that includes hot beverages like tea or coffee. I was asked to inform you what I wish to have in the morning itself for buying the food items to prepare for noon or dinner. & Food was pricey. They offer bread, egg and tea as complimentary. It's difficult to find parking space. I don't think laundry service was available. I'm giving 5 stars considering its value for money regardless of downsides.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. The service provided by the host Mr. Munna was outstanding; they were incredibly responsive and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. The location was perfect--just a short walk to local attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating a home-like atmosphere. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

I was looking for a place to lodge with my family, mostly senior citizens and children, and the quality of food was of utmost importance. We were all looking for good, home-cooked food that wouldn't upset our stomachs, and we found just that at Yellowbrick. Munnada is an excellent cook, and all the dishes he made for us (typical Bengali fare) were delicious, without any exceptions. He also kept the whole atmosphere of the place very lively, and conversations with him were enriching. The rooms are very quaint, beautifully done interiors. I loved the dining-cum-living space, and also the well-equipped open kitchen, where I could make a few things for ourselves too. Munnada and the rest of the staff ensured that we had a comfortable stay, and addressing all of our needs. We were so happy with our experience there. I would definitely book our next stay in Kolkata at Yellowbrick without hesitation.

As the name implies, this is Kolkata's freshest BnB. A charming and quaint little place tucked away in the gullies of Bollygunge, and yet at a stones throw from eateries and sweet shops and the Birla Mandir. 10/10 would recommend the place for its hospitality and breakfast with the most gracious host. Be prepared to walk a bit since the street to the property is quite narrow and difficult for cars to approach (although not impossible). They make sure you get to the right spot by talking to your cab driver. Would definitely visit again.

This review is long overdue. We stayed at the end of February. Enjoyed cool mornings on the roof terrace. Enjoyed cozy evenings reading books in the living area and in our room. Or conversations with Munnar who prepared breakfast and was running the place. Munnar is a gem added to this wonderful place for a Kolkata stay.

Well done with the hospitality. Your accommodation, food and warmth made us feel at home. Definitely coming back for the food and comfortable food. Munna sir and team has always aced it. You all deserve 100/10 stars. Coming to calcutta again

The beautiful interior and the quality of the rooms rivals most 5-star hotels while maintaining a cozy, homely atmosphere. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome: waited for us even though we arrived very late, gives instructions to drivers, personally prepares a delicious breakfast (even went out shopping to get some vegan options). Highly recommended!
