Exceptional Venue for a Wedding Reception! We recently hosted our wedding reception at Victoria, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the very beginning, the team displayed professionalism, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility, ensuring everything was executed flawlessly. The food was outstanding--every dish was delicious, well-presented, and received great compliments from our guests. The service was equally impressive, with staff members being attentive, courteous, and efficient throughout the event. The venue itself was beautifully arranged, creating the perfect ambiance for our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host such a special occasion. Highly recommend Victoria hotel for anyone looking for a seamless and memorable event experience!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Actually, negative stars. I've stayed in hostels, campsites, and budget motels across the world--but nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to the filthy, disgusting nightmare that is this hotel. Let's start with the check-in: the front desk staff looked like they hadn't slept in a week and treated me like I was an inconvenience just for showing up. No greeting, no smile, just a grunt and a room key thrown at me like I was a stray dog. It took them 40 minutes to even acknowledge me while they stood around chatting and scrolling on their phones. The room? I opened the door and was immediately hit with a wave of what I can only describe as mildew, sweat, and despair. The carpet was sticky. Not dirty--sticky. The sheets were stained and wrinkled, clearly unwashed. I found a long black hair in the bed. I have blonde hair. I was traveling alone. You do the math.

Nightmare Stay - Filthy, Infested, and Unhygienic I regret staying even one night at this place. From the moment I entered the room, I knew it was going to be a horrible experience. The room was filthy, with dust and grime everywhere. The worst part? The bed was infested with bedbugs! I woke up with bites all over me, and to make things even more disgusting, I noticed blood stains on the bedsheets--probably from previous guests dealing with the same issue. It was absolutely revolting. The bathroom was just as bad-- hot water system works on the basis of how lucky you are If you value cleanliness, comfort, or even basic hygiene, avoid this place at all costs. Staying here was a huge mistake! I had stayed in late 2015 at this hotel. That stay was absolutely amazing and excellent breakfast. However, this time after almost 9 years the experience was terrible. I got a feeling that the hotel hasn't been cleaned since 2015. Age of the hotel is no excuse to amenities and cleanliness. Normal wear and tear is understandable. But the room was filthy to be honest.

perfect place for partying with friends, somehow we managed to get one room for 8 peoples to celebrate birthday ( not staying for rest of the night ). rooms are not that big but after saw the luxury front , premium interior, great arts , i definitely feel the room could be better for sure! but the service was good and the behaviour was nice .

We booked a room on 22/02/25 the room was on 4th floor. The cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was dust and spider net on the ceilings and walls.the ac was too noisy that resulted to a sleepless night. But the food quality was good.

A good budget option near the airport in Kolkata with Victorian styled interiors in common areas and functional rooms. Rooms need significant maintenance along with the bath areas for general cleanliness, leaky faucets, hoses and aur conditioning. If you're part of a wedding party they will not do housekeeping unless you're there in the room. Likely an after effect of an unpleasant incident which put this protocol in place. Their star USP is the only bar in Kolkata which is allowed to operate 24x7x365. They provide some discounts on alcohol if part of room service but not on dine in. The breakfast buffet is very regimental and if you're staying more than 2 nights, expect things to get monotonous. Overall a decent stay option for night halt travellers who aren't going to be in the room most part of the day while in the city.
